Enjoyable Stay, Shame about the Manager

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, although the walk in to the centre every night got a bit tedious towards the end of the fortnight. We were in a suite which was spacious with a huge firm bed, and an excellent shower. A big negative was the fact that the sitting area was probably the gloomiest room I have ever been in. Not sure what the wattage was on the bulbs but they really need to put in brighter bulbs. We only ate breakfast there and we had lunch a couple of times. All in all the restaurant and bar staff were excellent and very friendly. Ali the pool guy is amazing whenever you need a bed moved or an umbrella up he appears, as if by magic. The guy that does the eggs in the morning was great as well, best fried eggs I have ever had, well almost. It is a pity that the management lets the hotel down, the manager on reception was not helpful in the least, and not just with me, as woman was screaming at him one day. You need to put your room card in to the slot to get the lights on. I tend to go out early in the morning leaving my wife in bed, this is not good when you only have one key. i do not ever remember ever paying for an extra room key, but you do here. OK is is only £2.50 but the point is you really need two keys if there are two people. The night porter was very friendly and helped us to the room when we arrived very late. We liked this hotel but will probably,y not use it again as we prefer the walk to the centre along the river, but we enjoyed the experience.

We had a lovely end-of-season stay at this hotel. The facilities available were excellent and the setting and gardens beside the river were a delight. The buffets provided at breakfast and in the evening were very good. The freshly-prepared omelettes and patisseries deserve special mention. The hotel was very well managed. The staff were exceptional. They responded quickly to any issues we raised and always made us feel very valued as guests. We will definitely want to return.

Amazing stay in Beautiful Dalyan!

This was our first time in Dalyan and it did not disappoint. We stayed on the spa side which is adults only in a superior room with French balcony. Having booked last minute that was the only room available. On arrival the desk staff were very friendly and showed us to our room which was clean and modern compared to other hotels we had looked at. The only downside was it had twin beds, but they came back the next day to make it into a large king (still had a gap in the middle) The beds are super comfy, and the rooms are cleaned every day. It was dark when we arrived, so we didn't see the view until the next morning, the view consisted of an overgrown tree!! this made the room very dark which was a shame and the view without the tree was amazing. I did ask if they could get someone to come and trim the tree, and they did a few days later and all I can say is WOW!! the difference this made not only to the light in the room, but the view was epic. The staff are super friendly and helpful especially Ali the pool and all-round good guy. He was so attentive and hard working. Many people that we met had been going for years and I totally see why. The hotel is in a great spot, set on the river which is beautiful to sunbath on or have a later afternoon drink by. Town is only a 10-minute walk away (all flat an easy walk) So many amazing places to eat and drink we were spoilt for choice. The food is amazing where every you go but we found the places where the locals eat were some of the one of our favourites was Kebapci Yusuf they did the best kebabs!! Another favourite was Alegria Brasserie, the setting and food is by far one of the best in Dalyan. We did two boat trips with Captain Emrah Demirtas (www.captainemsar@hotmail.com) and he was brilliant!! we did the river cruise and sunset and out to sea too. Both trips we great value and would highly recommend, the lake was just magical. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling as a couple.
