Side Resort Hotel is a family-friendly hotel in Side, a popular resort town on Turkey's southern Mediterranean Coast. The nearest sandy stretch of coast is a short walk from the hotel. Side itself is within walking distance, and has markets, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel has an outdoor pool with a whirlpool, and a separate pool for children. You'll find a sun terrace and gardens where there are plenty of places to sit and relax, and kids can enjoy the outdoor water slide in the children's pool. The hotel has a buffet restaurant offering international and Turkish food. In between meals, you can order a hot or cold snack, or ice cream from the pool bar. During your stay at Side Resort Hotel, you can enjoy the spa, where you can make use of the sauna and Turkish bath. Children can be kept entertained by the kids' club and indoor playrooms and games rooms, while there's also an area especially for teenagers. In the evenings, the hotel puts on entertainment, or you might like to venture into Side to enjoy the bars and restaurants. The hotel runs a small shuttle bus to the local beach, where there's Wi-Fi available. Until the summer of 2019, the hotel will be undergoing renovation and expansion. A new pool area with an activity pool and a pool with water slides will be built. In the same area, will a multi-court course and a snack bar also will be built. There will also be a bigger gym.

The closest beach, 1km from the hotel, is the Blue Flag-certified East Beach. It's long and sandy, and has a private beach club on the shore. If you want to go exploring, to the west of Side there's another shallower, sandy beach, which is also popular with swimmers. The centre of Side is 1.2km away from the hotel, and it's a mixture of old and new buildings. You can visit the old town and its ancient buildings, the amphitheatre, which still hosts performances, the aqueduct, Apollo's Temple, and the Hellenistic city walls. There's also a harbour with waterfront restaurants, bars and cafÈs.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, after which the bar is open until midnight. The ‡ la carte restaurant is open for dinner and serves Italian food. You can enjoy snacks from the bar throughout the day, and there's a mini market for essentials. From Summer 2019 there will be a snack bar at the new pool area. (small road need to be passed to reach to pool area)

Side Resort has a kids' Club as well as a hotel-run teen club. The hotel organizes a wide range of sport activities, such as step, boot camp, tabata, zumba, beach volleyball and water aerobics, boccia and darts. The hotel also offers evening entertainment several nights a week. Children under eight years must be accompanied by an adult to participate. For those who want to relax, there is a Turkish bath and a spa area, offering invigorating massages and other treatments.

Side Resort offers a beautiful pool area with a large pool as well as a kids' pool with a small waterslide for younger children. Until Summer 2019 the hotel will build a new pool area with an activity pool and a pool with water slides. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus service, departing from the hotel a few times a day (morning and afternoon), to the Apollon Beach Club on the eastern shore. Sun loungers and parasols, as well as Wi-Fi, are available free of charge. At the beach club, there is a restaurant, changing rooms and toilets. There are also various water sports on offer, such as water skiing, jet ski and Ringo (all at additional charge). Apollon Beach Club is not run by Side Resort.

Rooms at Side Resort each have Wi-Fi, satellite TV, air conditioning and a fridge. There's also a safe for your valuables.

Lovely visit- great for the whole family!

We celebrated our mothers 70th birthday here and we were amazed! Better than we expected! The kids (3&5) loved it as well as those of us in our 30s, as well as mother in her 70s. Food was great and lots of variety. I have several food allergies (milk, wheat, etc) the staff was kind and very helpful. They made special foods when nothing of the buffet suites my needs, or when I wanted a paste it was made for me. This was amazing since allergies are sometimes really an issue when traveling! They even got plant milk after my arrival to make gluten-free milk free pancakes in the morning! The spa was nice and the gym was ok. Good prices and no haggling needed- I even took a massage for every day of my visit. Evening entertainment was good and something for all ages! All inclusive was nice with drinks and ice cream throughout the day- the snack bar with birders and breads and fruit in the afternoon was appreciated! Sun beds were clean and always available even though there were lots of people at the hotel. The hotels beach was nice we only went 2 afternoons but nice. Walking distance into side which is great if you don’t want to stay at the hotel the whole time. Staff is kind! Room cleaning was good and no complaints. A small fireshow was arranged the day we celebrated the birthday in the a la carte restaurant after we talked to the staff to order som extras for the celebration- Osman himself said he would fix some fire and we didn’t believe him until we saw it! Moms face was a beauty to see. Every one in the part of 8 were happy with the stay!

Once again wife and I had an amazing time at side resort hotel (been before) Zafer and all the team do an amazing job and if there is ever any problems (never had any) there sorted on the spot, as ever food amazing kitchen staff friendliest we’ve ever met and the bar staff and entertainment team. There’s new a dull moment at this resort and plenty to do, Shops bars and restaurants very close by and the market is amazing (let the wife to barter though I don’t do that lol). A visit to the old town and ancient ruins is a must you get the chills when you visit the Amptheatre as if you feel what went on centuries ago. But the resort itself is amazing rooms top notch cleaned daily with fresh towel change I could go on and on but I’ll say if you visit this place at least once you’ll want to keep coming back. Once again many thanks to Zafer and the entire team at side resort hotel. See you again in the future.

Very disappointed

Stayed for a week In October , we couldn't get usual hotel and booked here based on the amazing reviews that we had seen about this hotel . Was excited to try it but was left extremely disappointed. On arrival we didn't feel we were greeted very well , we were asked to sit at a table in Reception to get booked in . Table was filthy and felt that staff just couldn't be bothered. Room was a shock , felt like I had walked back into time with extremely dated decor and furnishings . Haven't seen a wardrobe like that since I was last in my very dated grandparents home . All over this hotel is shabby . It desperately needs some TLC Unfortunately we also didn't find the staff to be friendly at all . Didn't get served one drink while eating and the food was not worth eating . We actually ate most days at the nearby burger King as we didn't find the food at the hotel worth eating . To then find out that all inclusive at the beach cost you extra money was another blow . Based on the food at the hotel we didn't bother. Walls are paper thin and this hotel is very noisy . I really don't understand why so may people have such great reviews as we had a completely different experience here . Will never go back . Even the walls surrounding the lift are awful and shabby. Corridors are industrial looking . Would not give this 2 star .
