Flora Garden Beach Side

Flora Garden Beach Ex. Sentido Flora Garden Hotel is an adults-only hotel on the beach, within driving distance of Side on the south coast of Turkey. You can take part in a range of activities here, or simply relax by the pool. The hotel was renovated in 2016 and has views out towards the sea. Outside you'll find a sun terrace and a garden, as well as an outdoor pool area. There are two swimming pools, one of which is the main pool. The other is smaller and quieter, with views over the sea and a zen garden. You can work out in the hotel's fitness centre and outdoor gym, and then wind down with a treatment or massage in the spa. You could also play tennis on the tennis court, as well as have a game of table tennis. You can choose from several restaurants and bars in the hotel for all your meals and drinks before enjoying the evening entertainment. In the disco bar you can take part in karaoke sessions, and there's a live music programme and beach parties as well as entertainment throughout the day. There's a 24-hour reception and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, as well as a mini market for holiday essentials, drinks and snacks. There's a private beach right in front of Flora Garden Beach Ex. Sentido Flora Garden Hotel, and here you can look out for the loggerhead sea turtles that nest in the area. The hotel is just outside a small village. You can go sightseeing in Manavgat, within driving distance, or the resort town of Side.

You can sunbathe or swim in the sea at the 850m-long beach outside the hotel. The town of Manavgat is 15km away, and here you'll find some well-known natural waterfalls, as well as traditional buildings and landmarks such as the columns and ruins of the Temple of Apollo. The resort town of Side is 22km away, and is a popular destination for holidaymakers because it has a harbour, two sandy beaches and historical architecture. It's a favourite spot for couples who want to find somewhere to watch the sunset, as well as families with young children who can enjoy the beach. You can visit the ancient amphitheatre, relax in the sunshine or browse one of the souvenir shops. The old town has winding streets to explore, while the harbour has a range of restaurants and bars you can stop at for something to eat or drink.

The hotel has one buffet restaurant and four a la carte. There are eight bars, including two pool bars, a beach bar and a karaoke bar. In the afternoons the patisserie serves sandwiches, ice cream, coffee, tea and cakes, and at the snack bar you can get burgers, pasta and pizza.

Flora Garden organises daytime sports sessions such as beach volleyball. You can also take part in fitness classes including Pilates and yoga.

Flora Garden offers two pool areas in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. One of the pools are located directly at the sea, offering magnificent views and a Zen garden. The hotel is located directly on a 850 m long private sandy beach, which is one of the nesting areas of the famous Caretta Caretta turtles.

Rooms at Flora Garden each have centrally controlled air conditioning and a TV with satellite channels. There's also a safe and room service.

Great relaxing holiday

Just back from 11 nights at flora garden beach. Hotel is beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff are excellent and make the hotel very pleasant. The hotel isn’t really near any places and a 55€ return taxi is only way to get there. I wouldn’t book this hotel on the basis of there being lots of restaurants there as we tried every second day we was there to book into one and couldn’t get booked in until it was too late. The entertainment can be a hit or a miss at the hotel as some nights it was excellent but other nights it could be better. All inclusive hours are 10am-11pm and after this you have to pay for drinks. These can be charged to your room and paid at check out. I do recommend the snack bar half way between the main pool and the relax pool as it has more options on the menu. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday with a good mixed age of guests.

Nice hotel, gorgeous grounds and right on the beach.

Location - The hotel is situated right on the beach which is idyllic although the beach is a pebble beach so take some beach shoes, sea was lovely to swim in nice and warm. There is a lovely Zen garden to walk around, nice on an evening. The let down for us was the proximity to the main road as we had some road noise in our room, you do get used to it after a couple of nights. The hotel is very remote so no where to walk to. The bus (Dolmus) runs every 15 minutes from the bus stop opposite and to the left, info Managvat for €2 . You can then jump on another one for €1 into Side. On your return to the hotel look for the Atlanya bus. Rooms - We had a bungalow room, it was really nice, we loved the open plan design. Bed and pillows comfortable. Loads of storage space, mini bar filled daily and maids were excellent room was always cleaned to a high standard. Free use of the safe. Air-con good but a bit noisy. Pools - 2 pools, we didn't use the main pool as found the relax pool more for us, you did have to be up early if you wanted a good bed as some people reserve them then go to the beach until late afternoon which was a bit annoying. Also I feel the use of inflatables should only be aloud in the main pool as the relax pool is smaller. Food - The food was okay in the main restaurant, always find something to eat. We did not like the fact the hot food is not self service as it could take a while to be served during busy times and did put me off from trying new things things. The salad bar was excellent with so much choice and desserts were the best I have had in Turkey. There obviously is no bacon, sausages or beans for breakfast so if you want a full English go to Spain! So many guests moaning about this, so annoying and disrespectful. Pool and beach restaurant food is cooked to order and good, take your phone though as you will need to scan the QR code to get the menu. Entertainment - Was okay a couple of good bands on during our stay, we could never get a seat in the Blue Bar area but no problem as you can sit on the restaurant terrace which is just as good. Overall we had a great holiday, nice and relaxing. Hotel is lovely, grounds gorgeous and well kept. Staff are all pleasant and helpful but very busy so sometimes they do forget things or take a little while to get to you. Wi-Fi is excellent, availability right across the site including the beach and it never dropped out. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Don’t believe the bad reviews! Why do people moan so much! Enjoy your holiday, we loved it xx

If your looking for a chilled week away and your in a good relationship, meaning you enjoy being with your other half then this is the place to be! We spoke to people that said they were bored! change your travelling companion and chill out Before we come to Flora Gardens, we were put off by certain reviews…. But we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a basis double room which was lovely, the staff were great, food was good, desserts were amazing, we liked the idea that you could help yourself to bottles of water, the coffee shop was a hit, lunch time food was served to you by the pool or beach which was a nice touch, they even brought you drinks which we haven’t experienced before. There are loads of places to sit and chill, we never had any problems with finding a bed round the pool or on the beach. The evening entertainment was great, different bands each night, they do like to sing the same songs though I’d like to add we never heard any drum and base like we read in previous reviews and never experienced any pool party’s. There are 2 parts of the hotel, one side I believe rooms numbers up to 1000 is the more lively end, meaning music round the pool, nothing more than that, we stayed this end in room 909 and we were never kept awake by any noise. The other side to the hotel, we’re you had the zen gardens was very quiet so you had the best of both worlds. We will definitely be coming back, thank you for a lovely stay.
