Fantastic family holiday for my husband’s birthday. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially Erdem taktak. Hotel clean, pools very nice but a bit cold, the shuttle bus to aqua park was very convenient Main food restaurant was brilliant and was well staffed who could not have been more friendly

Amazing place, photographic at the hotel was awesome.

Went last week and must say me and my family had an awesome experience. The person at the desk was very welcoming and advised us to get dinner before checking our luggage in at the hotel before dinner service finishes as we arrived late in late. We also got a free upgrade too all staff and so nice and even at meals time the service was great. We also had out pictures taken at the the people were really friendly and did amazing job with the shots definitely recommend it. Overall I would definitely go back and we had such awesome time.

5* but not really 5*

Fantastic resort with so many things to do! But unfortunately the cleanliness , service and overall feel of the resort brings down the points by a lot. We did have a great time there but communication could have been better. E.g, upon check-in we were told that many things were included within our all-inclusive package (we were told all spa facilities including Turkish bath is included in the package. Only the massage and facial is not included). We ended up waiting for ages to only be told after no it’s not included. The staff members do not look happy. A lot of them are not friendly and try rush you away which I found shocking. Something that is appalling is that many times we were provided OPEN WATER BOTTLES. We were given open and used water bottles after a spa session that we had paid for. And also in our rooms, the fridge would get restocked … many times with used/ open water bottles unfortunately. We were shocked to see a 5* resort does not have an iron. That was ridiculous. We asked for a baby cot for our baby and was provided with a broken one. However when we called they said they would replace it but instead came and did a “quick fix” which was ok I guess. The resort does have a huge number of things to do to keep you entertained which is great. The bad thing about that is you do need to go and ask and keep asking for when the programme will start as we waiting 45 minutes for certain things (e.g. air soft experience). We were waiting 45 mins as it was supposed to start at 3:30. I had to keep asking a different member of staff when it would start and when the member of staff would come to begin the air soft experience. The water slides in the resort are great! Good fun. However ALL the pools are ice cold. None of them are heated including the indoor pool. But we still did enjoy the pool facilities. The timings of food is silly. They set a time for lunch or dinner to end (e.g, dinner ends at 9:30pm) but the staff would rush and take away all food before 9:30 and ask everyone to leave the restaurant… a lot of the time in not such a pleasant way. We had leaks in our bathroom. Every time we showered the bathroom would get flooded. I did call reception about this. They did clean the bathroom up but no fix was done (or room change). I booked a studio room (which is a far away Annex building). It’s really difficult with a baby to go to the main lobby or for food etc because of the distance , because of this many times me and my wife would have to end the night early and miss out on things because we would have to go back to the room to change the baby’s nappy or feed the baby etc. we asked for a room change but was rejected. We even asked ok then can we get a lift from the lobby to our hotel room as it is a long walk, especially with a baby and since they have a little golf cart kind of buggy, myself and my wife were rejected on multiple occasions on multiple instances. Even when it was just my wife pushing the pram needing some help carrying things to the room. I find it appalling that nobody offered to take her / us to the room with a cart that wasn’t even being used. When leaving Aska Lara, the member of staff also kept asking for tips, and when we said no we just have enough to pay the taxi to go to the airport, the member of staff gave a dirty look and slammed the door closed (we have a baby so that is outrageous to do). Overall our experience with Aska Lara was a 3.5. Opened/ used water bottles being provided is unacceptable. The attitude and “friendliness” from the staff is unacceptable as there was no friendliness and bad attitude with almost all staff members. The room cleanliness and water leaking etc was poor for a 5* place. So yeah, 3.5 overall rating from us. Would I recommend? Yes I would, but make sure you stay in the main hotel. They’re a little sly by not explaining the “studio” rooms are really far away in terms of walking distance. However the opened water bottles and the not so friendly staff doesn’t overpower the facilities of the resort.
