Within a stone's throw of Alanya's famous Cleopatra Beach, this compact, city hotel is ideally located for those looking for a busy resort with plenty of great shops, cafe bars and restaurants as well as a beach closeby so they can enjoy days of sun-bathing or joining in water sports. Modestly furnished, the rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and perfect for a good night's rest after a long day in the sunshine. Guests can also benefit from a relaxing sauna or Turkish bath in the hotel's small spa before enjoying a refreshing drink or tasty meal in one of the a la carte restaurants which open onto a pedestrianised street and are shared with this property's neighbouring, two sister hotels. The resort's many attractions are easily accessible from the hotel such as Damlatas Caves a few steps away and Alanya Castle, a ten minute bus journey.

Nightmare hotel
First of all and very important: this profile picture of this hotel is fake. This a picture of some other hotel, not from Kleopatra Develi. Second, this hotel is located close to the beach, but it is not beachfront. This hotel does not deserve a single star! Basic furniture, basic breakfast which is served in the hotel across he street, bad smell and noisy if you get a room close to the street. If you get the room from the other side (my case) noise comes from the "pool" and in the evening from the neighborhood restaurant. I reserved a room by Agoda with included air condition, but hotel wanted to pay it extra for it. I wrote to Agoda more than 10 emails with request to solve the problem (because they sold me a room with air condition) and their answer was that I need to pay 7 EUR/day extra for the A/C. It was nonsense because I need to pay A/C twice to get it once! WiFi in the room was so poor so I bought Turkish SIM card to use it for internet. Both, Agoda and Cleopatra Develi Hotel ruined my holiday, and I will never again use their services.
So so stay
The food is terrible if half board no choices just set menu you get what your given. People filling up flasks of water if you try a bottle they tell you off!! It’s a business no customer care you are just a number to them. Great location and if on 6th floor you get ocean view. Would NOT recommend
Avoid this awful place, there are cheaper and better hotels nearby.
I travel a lot and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First of all they have a blatant overbooking policy. I arrived at midnight having booked many weeks in advance, to be told there was no room available for me. There was no apology I was taken to another hotel round the corner. I was told I would have to stay there for at least 7 nights but I would need to walk around to Develi for my breakfast. There were at least 4 other rooms that had been overbooked at the same time. All said that they had been treated rudely and we all preferred the Saray hotel that we had been sent to. Having witnessed how rude the staff were at the Develi I was not keen to be moved back there. However I was forced back to the Develi, despite saying that I did not want to move. Again no apology for the inconvenience, I was told I had 2 hours to pack up my room and bring my stuff around to the Develi. Luckily I only had 5 nights here. So why is the place so awful? Mainly the staff. The staff are extremely nice to a few guests, presumably those that eat and drink in their overpriced bar and restaurant. Other guests are treated with contempt, for example at breakfast a member of staff was persistently referring to one guest as " a motherf*cker, a f*cking German motherf*cker" The guest's crime - wanting ketchup with his breakfast. I was lucky, I was merely ignored. The hotel does have a good location, but so do all the other hotels that surround it. The facilities are what I would describe as being one star. The trickle of water from the shower is pitiful, pillows are lumpy, the noise is very loud at night. Air conditioning is 6 Euro per night, I think they charge extra for the room safe too. The lift stops in between floors so people with pushchairs had to carry them up about 10 steps no matter what floor they were on plus 10 steps to reach the lift from the ground floor. The room is basic, you get the same standard of room at the Saray but it is cheaper and the aircon is free. You may well end up in the Saray even if you book the Develi so may as well cut out the extremely rude middle man and go straight there.
