Ciutadella - currency

Ciutadella’s official currency is the Euro (EUR). 

Credit and debit cards are widely accepted here, but you may wish to bring some cash along with you too. Cash is sometimes the preferred payment method in smaller shops and restaurants, and it can be helpful when paying for souvenirs or taxi journeys. Tipping here is not mandatory, but it is recommended, and you may wish to use cash when doing so.
