The Bay is a beachfront, family-friendly hotel in Vasilikos, a quiet beach resort on the south eastern coast of the Greek island of Zante. The sandy Vasilikos Beach is steps away from the hotel, while the town centre of Vasilikos, with plenty of local shops, bars and restaurants, is a short walk away. The hotel has views across the Ionian Sea. The Bay is Mediterranean in style, with whitewashed walls. Its buildings are set within tree-lined gardens, and there's a central outdoor swimming pool and separate pool for children. You can sit and relax on the sun terrace with a drink from the pool bar. There are two restaurants, including one with an ala carte menu. The hotel organises fitness classes for adults, and you can also hire tennis equipment. During your stay, you can relax in the spa, where there's a sauna and a Turkish bath. You can also book in for a massage or beauty treatment. For an active holiday, you can use the onsite gym or volleyball net on the beach. If you want to go exploring instead, you can head inland and discover ancient olive groves and local Greek villages surrounded by countryside.

The Bay is 200m from Vasilikos Beach, 1km from Vasilikos town and 12km from Zante Town, the capital of the island. In the main centre, you can wander around the port with its restaurants and cafes, or browse the shops and pick up a souvenir. For history and culture, you can visit the Byzantine Museum and Solomos Museum. There's also a tourist train that takes you around the area starting from Solomos Square. In Zante Town, you can also visit Bohali, an ancient stone castle on a hillside. If you climb to the top, you can see panoramic views of the town and ocean.

The hotel has a buffet restaurant offering breakfast and dinner. There's also an ala carte restaurant serving breakfast and lunch each day, with a kids' menu available. You can order soft and alcoholic drinks from the pool bar throughout the day, until late in the evening.

Hotel staff put on entertainment for children six times a week, and family entertainment twice a week. There's also a mini disco.

One of the best anniversaries with my wife in this hotel. We had everything arranged before even we get there. They prepared for us a special gift in the room. Thanks to the manager we extended our stay for one more day. And one of the best beaches on the island just a few meters away. 5star service from all the staff thank you so much.

this is a beautiful and welcoming hotel. nice facilities and rooms with modern design with amazing sea views! we were 3 families stayed for a week and none of us experienced any issue at all. especially when we wanted a change in the one room, the reservation manager quickly assisted us and offered us one room with extraordinary view! breakfast and dinner really tasty and also the pool bar was our favorite spot. we loved being so close to the beach without having to move away from the hotel with cars. the highlight of our trip was the care of the staff as they were always at our disposal for anything we needed! we will definitely come back!

We chose The Bay for our stay in Zakynthos as we were looking for a quite hotel on the beach. We had not visited the island of Zakynthos neither knew much about the hotel. When we arrived we were so happily surprised by this property. The girls at the reception were very friendly and professional. We were offered a refreshing welcome drink and were walked to our room, which had a really nice decoration and incredible view! We knew straight away that we got it right! The hotel overall has a very good level of service and great food. The location is unique as it is set on a beautiful sandy beach with clear crystal water. The sunbeds around the pool and the beach are very luxurious and comfortable. We spent all our days by the beach and the pool, relaxing and sunbathing. We also tried the outdoor massage which was a very nice experience In the nights we enjoyed having our drinks under the stars. Loved this place and will love to return one day soon…
