La Mer Deluxe is an adults-only resort near the town of Kamari on the eastern coast of Santorini. The hotel is steps away from Kamari Beach, where you can sunbathe or go for a swim in the Aegean Sea. The hotel exterior looks typically Greek, with whitewashed walls and domed roofs. It has two outdoor swimming pools, with an adjoining sun terrace where you can sunbathe and relax. If you want to swim in the shade, La Mer Deluxe hotel has an indoor heated pool as part of the spa. Here, you can indulge in a range of treatments including massages, manicures and pedicures. There's also a gym if you feel like a refreshing workout, and a whirlpool for relaxing in afterwards. La Mer Deluxe has a breakfast buffet and a la carte restaurant, as well as a pool bar and lounge bar. There are also several local bars and restaurants near the hotel, with many set along the beach promenade so you can enjoy a sea view with a drink or meal. The centre of town is within walking distance, where there are more bars and clubs. In the heart of Kamari you can see local art and sculptures at shops near the beach.
La Mer Deluxe is 100m from Kamari Beach and 1km from the town centre. A short drive south of the town will take you to the sprawling ruins of Ancient Thera at the top of a cliff. You can wander among the remains of temples and amphitheatres built by the Dorians, and take in the sweeping panoramic views of the sea below. If Ancient Thera inspires you, there's a Museum of Minerals and Fossils at Perissa short drive south from the hotel. The island is also well known for its vineyards, with several within driving distance of the hotel offering tours and tastings.
La Mer Deluxe puts on an American buffet breakfast and has a gourmet a la carte restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mediterranean dishes are served here. You can eat inside the restaurant or outside by the pool terrace. There's also a pool bar and lounge bar serving light refreshments and snacks.
La Mer Deluxe has a games room with billiards and table football. The hotel also has squash courts, table tennis and mini golf.
