Afroditi Venus Beach Hotel & Spa is on the Greek island of Santorini in the seaside resort of Kamari. It's on the east coast of the island and sits at the foot of Messa Vouno mountain, which can be seen from the town. The hotel is a short stroll from Kamari's black-sand stretch of coastline, one of the most popular beaches on the island. It's been awarded Blue Flag status for its high quality. The hotel was renovated in 2016 and has a fresh and modern décor. It features traditional local influences such as whitewashed walls, tiled floors and rooftops with domed arches. Outside, there are places to lounge in the sunshine, perhaps before taking a dip in one of the two outdoor pools. You can also unwind in the whirlpool while enjoying views of the Aegean Sea. If you'd rather sit in the shade, you can cool off in the canopied seating areas or by the poolside bar. Here, you can order international and local branded drinks, including cocktails and champagne, throughout the day and into the evening. Snacks are also available, and you'll never have to go far for refreshments as the hotel offers waiter service at the pool.
Afroditi Venus Beach Hotel & Spa is 20m away from Kamari Beach and a 1km walk from the heart of the resort itself. Along the beach there's a long promenade lined with shops, tavernas and café bars, some of which offer traditional Greek music as well as local cuisine. The resort also has the island's only open-air cinema. Santorini's capital, Thira, is 8km from the hotel and can be reached using local transport from the Kamari bus stop, 50m away. This popular town is perched on the high cliffs of the island, offering the famous view of the volcanic crater below.
Afroditi Venus Beach Hotel & Spa offers a buffet breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant (May-Oct). For dinner, you can also choose from an à la carte menu. As well as a pool bar, the hotel has a cocktail bar serving drinks late into the night.
You could visit the spa and choose from a menu of massages and beauty treatments. There's also a heated indoor whirlpool to relax in.
Rooms are decorated with a beach-inspired theme. They include a mini fridge with a freezer, as well as air conditioning and a flatscreen TV with satellite channels. Due to the location or design of this hotel, please take extra care on your balcony and ensure that children are never left unsupervised.

Private SPA was available
The place was ideal since the beach is a few feet away from the amazing hotel. The hotel is also had a private spa which is so convenient. Each morning there were great options for breakfast. The staff was also great. Overall, I'd say that the staff provide the kind of customer service that is sometimes lacking in other hotels.
Beautiful hotel but receptionists need training in how to greet guests unfortunately
We stayed in this hotel for our honeymoon a few weeks ago. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location. The cleaners and bar staff are all very good at their jobs and nice and polite, unfortunately 2 different receptionists were very unhelpful, one in particular that was very unapproachable and had no interest in helping us at all . We were a little disappointed with the greeting we received when we arrived (no mention of our honeymoon) and just in a rush to get us to the room . This was the attitude we received any time we went to reception with questions like about a wine tasting tour and she said "you'd have to Google it" and asked about the bus stop which was about a ten minute walk from the hotel we were told "go out the front door take a right and a left and your there" We were also disappointed to learn you had to pay extra to use the spa facilities even after paying for treatments. All in all if your familar with santorini or you are going to purely chill by the pool or beach I'd highly recommend it but reception was very poor.
Disappointing
After arriving at this hotel we did not get a very warm reception and asked to see the junior suit we booked with the intentions of upgrading. Reception, “we are fully booked.” Having half board, at breakfast the food was cold, only one coffee machine working, no orange juice, limited milk and no white bread. After five days of exactly the same food and still cold I complained to reception to be greeted with “we are closing next Monday for the season.” The outside drinks bar was closed which meant travelling front front to back of the hotel just to get refreshments. We asked about the spa and was told it was15 euros each, after seeing the spa which was an ice cold pool with the hot tub also cold and steam room closed. We then just gave up. The hotel is beautiful and the only thing that was very good was housekeeping, they were excellent. The staff and management need re training to greet and assist clients during their stay. Sorry would never come back again. It was unacceptable.
