The location of this hotel has an air of refined luxury in a tranquil oasis, and at the same time places guests in the midst of the lively capital city of Fira, providing quick access to shopping venues and nightlife. The hotel faces towards the eastern side of the island, and from the large courtyard one can see the land sloping gently down to the Aegean Sea in the distance. This establishment is a traditional Cycladic mansion from the mid-1900s, fully renovated and converted into 15 modern luxurious suites, superior rooms and traditional ‘cave' houses. With a history of hosting distinguished guests, the mansion stands stately in its architectural grandeur. All bedrooms are spacious, cool and airy with high ceilings, and some are furnished with the mansion's original antique furniture.

A wonderful home away from home stay in the heart of Fira yet in an amazing and peaceful oasis 10 Liked · The mansion boutique hotel is a wonderful oasis in the middle of central Fira along the shops , cafes and bars and just next to the iconic Catholic cathedral and central bus station BUT as you come down to the court yard along the steps of the busy walk away it is a peaceful heaven , over looking the Aegean sea. The tranquil and luxurious court yard with the beautiful mansion and a very mature courtyard garden with tall trees and a welcoming shade is breathtaking and very romantic especially at night. The morning sun rise is so beautiful from the court yard. The breakfast in the courtyard garden is wonderful. Icing on the cake is VASU the lovely young receptionist who welcomes you with open arms and a friendly smile and chat as you walk in. She really makes the mansion feel like a home away from home. She also helps you with all the information needed for a relaxing holiday in Santorini and all tours. we heard that Vasu sings and plays the guitar and this will be an additional touch to the place if utilized. The rooms have very high ceilings. The well refurbished mansion still keeps the original mansion character and great traditional furniture along with lovely ancestral photos. This is a family business of the owners of the mansion. The rooms also has a fridge freezer, great for freezing bottles of water , a room sink, iron and kettle.Rooms are cleaned daily. Lots of seating areas in the extra large court yard and a great lift to carry your heavy bags. The caldera is just close by too. The taxi drops you near the salt and pepper restaurant on the main Street and the hotel is a few steps up to the main gate. On the left is the lift. Do not miss this , with heavy bags. This has been a wonderful stay for us like never before ,as experienced travellers. We LOVED the place and will recommend to all. Thankyou Kasim ( kind and friendly) and the rest of the team. In the heart of Fira, but peaceful.

We arrived at 1 am. This didn't start off well since I booked the hotel and forgot to inform them of our late (WAY EARLY) arrival. They left the key for us and luckily we found our room. Well, our room was AMAZING!!! We woke up and did the formalities with passports and then went to our included breakfast which was enough to feed an army and super tasty. The property is a 5 minute walk to the gondola and a world away from the nightmare lines the cruisers have to endure. The shops are at your fingertips too. There are junk souvenir shops as well as high end shops. We enjoyed the sunset at a restaurant that had all the views and wasn't high priced. Aria Lito was an unexpected luxury. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering Fira.

I travel the world, and Vaso at reception was the best hotel employee l’ve ever encountered. She went above and beyond to make our stay a thoroughly enjoyable experience! Breakfast was fabulous, our suite was clean and all staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Close proximity to shopping and restaurants.
