Great place for a relaxing break

Excellent location in a quiet part of Santorini at Akrotiri. We had a lovely room beside the pool. The staff were friendly and very helpful despite being tired at the end of the season. Excellent transfer service to and from the port and airport. Good buffet breakfast, which could be eaten by the pool if wished. We hired a car for 3 days, which was worth it as we were able to explore various villages and beaches, although there is a public bus service to the main tourist centres of Oia and Fira.

Amazing Hotel and Staff!

I highly recommend staying at Mathios Village while visiting Santorini. The hotel is very clean with nice rooms, swimming pool and an on-site restaurant as well as an on-site travel agency. Housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning our room during our stay. Every single staff member we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Kostas, the owner, is truly remarkable. He goes out of his way for his guests and he has an on-site travel agency that can take care of any of your excursions, rental cars, transfers, etc. As well as events and wedding planning! I will definitely stay here again anytime I visit Santorini in the future. Thank you Kostas!!

Costas is one of the most gracious, helpful and committed to service mangers i have ever encountered. everything about this hotel is terrific, rooms, pool, restaurant, cleanliness, food and most of all fantastic wine (red, white and rose) made by Mr. Costas family locally. if you are planning a trip to Santorini you must stay here. Costas will make sure that your stay at Hotel Mathios village will be one not soon to forget. it really is like staying with family!!!! in one word " remarkable" !!!!!
