Wonderful Stay!

This is a lovely little resort! The resort itself is very well maintained and spotlessly clean! We stayed in an extremely spacious apartment with very large balcony with lovely views of the pool and gardens and the sea at a distance - beautiful! the apartment again was well maintained fairly minimalistic but that's what is to be expected and have everything we needed. Only criticism would be the shower but that's being picky! The staff are delightful! The receptionist was always so helpful and the two ladies serving breakfast were the same! Nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice but you could really ask for anything and they would make it for you! I did love the freshly squeezed orange juice - when the machine was working!! The cleaner also done a great job and was also so very friendly! The resort is about a 15 minute walk into town and about 10 minutes to Kavos beach which we loved. It is just a small cove but really beautiful with soft sand - no shingles or pebbles and lovely clear water! There aren't a lot of sun loungers there so you need to get there early! Loads of lovely restaurants in the town - we can honestly say we did not have a bad meal one night of our 10 night stay! A few of our favourites were Artemis and Philosophia (down at beach) beautiful location. You can sit here and watch sun setting. We would not hesitate to return to this lovely resort!

What a great little resort

What a great little resort. From the moment you arrive what hits you the most is the friendliness of the staff for which nothing is too much trouble. Adela the receptionist was always happy to help and offered up useful information on the resort and places to visit along with helping out with such things as printing travel and covid documents. Definitely my favourite receptionist in the whole world! The two daytime bar and restaurant staff, Jovanka and Tina were always happy and welcoming and made sure the food and drinks kept flowing, the nightshift barman Rakip was the same, friendly and always happy to chat. The bar is open 24 hours by the way though we only ever managed to test it to 3am. The small restaurant food quality and quantities were excellent with a good range of dishes to choose from. We mostly ate lunch there and tried a good range of what was on offer from gyros to burgers, the meat feast platter to share at 14 euros was a winner. The included breakfast was fantastic with a selection of fruit, pastries and preserves served at your table followed by your choice of at least ten options including full English, omelette or pancakes. The only small downside was the fresh orange juicer did clog up occasionally, putting it out of action for the rest of service that day. There were always plenty of spare sunbeds around the pool and very few people were reserving them. The pool temperature was perfect for cooling off after baking on your sunbed and was never busy. We had room 208, a one bedroom room which was spacious and well equipped with a small kitchen diner. The only fault we found was the shower head would not stay in place above the bath but a sunbed towel clip quickly solved that problem. The maid kept the room clean and changed our towels bedding every 2nd day We picked this resort precisely because it was out of town and therefore very quiet and relaxing. Its a 20 minute walk to the far side of Pefkos and this may not suit everybody but we enjoyed the walks into town and it helped burn off the calories we had soaked up lying around all day. The nearest beach is Kavos beach which is small and peaceful and only a 5 minute walk. The main beach, Lee beach is about 12 minutes walk and is alot bigger and very busy with the usual offering of watersports equipment for hire. Padded sunbeds were 12 euros for two sunbeds and a parasol for a days hire, the ones at Lee beach bar were the same price but the bar offered free water and wifi as an added incentive. Though busy we never had a problem finding a sunbed. All in all could not fault this small and comfortable resort and always felt more like you were staying with family, so much more warm and friendly than alot of the big all inclusives we have stayed at in the past. Would not hesitate to recommend this place if you want a peaceful relaxing out of the way break from it all.

Went a few weeks ago. The hotel is a little gem. We had a great apartment which was nicely decorated and spacious, this included a proper kitchen and bathroom, in fact the best we’ve ever had in Greece and we have been many many times to different islands and resorts. The breakfasts were amazing with such generous portions we had to tell them otherwise we would have come back huge. The chef was very good and the staff so helpful and friendly. Lovely clean pool and sun beds if that’s your thing but we liked the beaches. Pefkos beach was nice but busy in parts, not so much the end nearest the hotel you could get to that end via the philosophia restaurant turn off, steep slope. Mavis beach nearest the hotel was my favourite but very small get there early to get sun beds. You do need to be prepared to walk, 20 mins into pefkos and up a steepish hill coming out of the resort but there’s plenty of taxis available.
