Garden Hotel

Garden Hotel is a family-friendly hotel in the peaceful village of Pastida in the north of Rhodes, the largest of Greece's Dodecanese islands. The island is known for its beach resorts, scenic landscape and historical attractions. The hotel is a short drive from the sand-and-shingle shores of Kremasti beach, where you can swim and paddle in the shallow water. It's also a short drive from the lively resort of Faliraki, where you'll find a main strip lined with nightclubs, karaoke bars and live music venues. Renovated in 2017, the hotel's low-rise buildings have classic whitewashed exteriors, with the occasional splash of light blue. They sit in flat gardens, amid lawns and trees. You'll find brightly decorated public areas, with different coloured walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. Rooms have a bold feature wall, simple wooden furnishings and light floor tiles. They come with indoor and outdoor dining areas. The hotel has an outdoor pool area with one main swimming pool plus a shallower pool for kids. There's a restaurant where you can get all of your meals, as well a bar that's open until late. Alternatively, you can head out to Kremasti and enjoy some freshly caught seafood at one of the waterfront tavernas.

Rhodes Town is within driving distance of the hotel. Here, you'll find boutiques, local markets and a historic old town. If you're feeling adventurous, you could get the ferry from Rhodes Town to the Turkish resort of Bodrum, which has a bazaar with rows of stalls selling local goods, including clothing, Turkish Delight and spices. You could also take a day trip to the hillside village of Lindos, which is known for its hilltop acropolis and horseshoe-shaped bay. It's home to rooftop cafes, seaside bars and an assortment of souvenir shops.

You can dine outdoors at the hotel's restaurant, which has a kids' menu, along with traditional Mediterranean cuisine. It offers a buffet for breakfast and a la carte dining for lunch and dinner. There's also a bar, where you can get snacks and international brands of drinks from morning until late.

Life at the hotel is centred around the outdoor pool area, where you can relax in the sun. You could also wander through the hotel's tree-lined gardens.

Each of the guest rooms at the hotel come with a TV and a fridge. You'll also have air conditioning and a fan.
