Lindian Village is a 5 star family-friendly resort, just 13km from the town of Lindos. Revamped in 2023, it’s set amidst lush gardens and boasts its own private beach. There’s a mini club for toddlers aged 4 months to 3 years, as well as a kids’ club for 4-12 year olds. The spa provides a relaxing space where you can book a massage or beauty treatment. When it’s time to eat you’ll be spoilt for choice thanks to the eight bars and restaurants.
The fun packed activities for children include puppet and magic shows, as well as cinema nights. The little ones can also get their hands mucky at a pottery, painting or pizza making class. There’s even a mini spa for them! Classes for adults include Greek cookery and cocktail making. Alternatively, choose from wine tasting, yoga, tennis, crossfit and astronomy nights.
The main Estria restaurant is open for a buffet breakfast (until 11am). It then reopens for dinner. Two a la carte options offer Greek and Asian cuisine in the evenings. The poolside Trattoria dishes up Italian favourites for both lunch and dinner. And if you get peckish while on the beach there’s Yummy Truck, with meatballs, hotdogs and burgers. The Helios Pool Bar & Restaurant is open from 10am to 6.30pm, while the Bliss Bar is open from 6pm until 1am. Dreams 'n' Creams serves crepes, waffles and ice cream until midnight. Maybe you’ll be tempted by the tsoureki & praline flavour.
The 153 rooms consist of generously sized doubles, family options and suites. Passage Suites boast either an outdoor Jacuzzi® or a private pool. If you go for an Ottoman Gardens Family Suite you’ll have a whopping 86m2 of space, as well as an outdoor Jacuzzi®. Feel like staying in? There’s 24/7 room service, with the full menu available from 11am to 11pm.
And as if that wasn't already enough to entice you, there's a range of exciting experiences on offer, from scuba diving and paddleboarding to quad biking and go karting. If you are accompanied by guests full of energy, rather than ones with tired little legs, you can climb to the summit of Lindos Acropolis (13km away). This is one of the area’s must-visit spots where you can view the remains of temples from the 4th century BC.
As you’re just 50km from the Old Town of Rhodes, you shouldn’t miss out on the opportunity to see this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll around the cobbled streets to see the remains of castles, temples and fortifications. You can also view colourful restored mosaics at the Palace of The Grand Master of The Knights, including one from the 2nd century BC. On the way back, stop off at Kalithea Springs, for the perfect mix of sightseeing and relaxation to round off your day trip. Admire the beauty of the restored spa buildings, originally built in 1928. For those interested in history, there’s an exhibition detailing bygone times. While for those more into chilling, there are sunloungers and ice-cold drinks.
