Fantastic stay in a fantastic hotel!

Had a lovely two week stay at the Kresten Royal Euphoria resort. Weather was brilliant, which always helps!. Room was lovely and cleaned every day. Food was excellent, cocktails were nice and they even had some excellent entertainment some evenings. Staff were really friendly and all the hotel is spotless.

The highlight of our holiday

was a 70 minute 90 euro full body massage by therapist Mika. She really is a superb therapist........ All staff without exception had permanent smiles whatever the time of day.....nothing was too much trouble. Kostas the Maitred' never ceased to amaze with his constantly changing facial expressions and hand movements.......

Great hotel, even better staff, great, quiet, out of season visit

We just got back from 2 weeks at the Kristen Euphoria. We went for my 50th so knew it was out of season and that was fine with us. The good- pretty much everything! Staff were utterly brilliant, nothing too much trouble. The resort - it was just beautiful, the main areas are great, gardens are immaculate, bar was good, pools were beautiful -if a little cold - but we did go in November. The beach was great, the cove and sea were great for snorkelling. Take some water shoes as the rocks not far out can and did have lots of spiny sea urchins in the holes. Lots of fish to see, octopus etc, we were in the sea every day even in november. We didn’t use the spa or gym but used the tennis courts a few times and they were great too. Restaurants were spotless, the choice in the Buffett was great. My wife is vegetarian, I am pretty adventurous with food and we both found the restaurants great, possibly with the exception of one day but that was down to us. Drinks were local so some were not to our taste but again overall pretty good. Bar staff were ace. Room - we opted for a private pool room, 705 -it was huge, not sure we made enough of the private pool as we were in the sea every day. Beds were great and I stay in a lot of hotels for work. Everything tiled on the floors so if people above moved furniture it could be heard but we never had any trouble (my brother had an issue with noisy neighbour in their room on first night and was immediately moved). 2 good bathrooms, whirlpool bath, good showers, nice decor. Lounge area with dining table, would have been great for family of 4. Room was spotless and cleaned very well. There was a noticeable temperature drop in hot water a couple of days before we left - i assume as they were closing the hotel for winter the day we left they turned the boilers down, it was fine though. The not-so good I have refrained from using the word bad as honestly, we loved the place. Air-con - I am assuming this is centrally controlled, and they set the temp for the time of year but could have been cooler for us - we had a couple of nights that were warm, my brothers room was the same and he was in the main block. We went very late in the season - the indoor heated pool was closed, but not an issue for us. A couple of other minor issues associated with it being the very end of the season but little things. The only real negative for me - There were a group of British people there who thought the serving staff were servants, and treated them REALLY poorly. Were it my hotel I would have thrown them out. People serving you should be treated with utmost respect, they are serving staff, and in this hotel were brilliant, they are not servants or human slaves. Made me feel ashamed and I can only apologise to the hotel staff for their behaviour. Would I go back? Definitely, tomorrow. Thanks Euphoria, had a brilliant, memorable birthday and holiday.
