Located on the Greek island of Rhodes and facing the majestic Trianta Bay, Sol by Melia Cosmopolitan Rhodes is a 4 star hotel suiting both families and couples. The Old Town of Rhodes is just over 15 minutes away by car. Here you can wander the ancient streets and see numerous styles of building, each telling you something about the history of the island. The children may wish to visit the nearby aquarium; this isn’t just a tourist attraction, it was built as a research facility and they care for injured creatures before they are released back into the sea. Rodini Park is also in the area, which dates back to Roman times and claims to be the first landscaped park in the world. With paths arranged around a stream, it’s the ideal place to escape the heat, where you will be joined by feathery friends including peacocks.
