10* for the Animation events team - they are incredible!!

Jun 2022 | JaneSophia00

Pegasos Deluxe hotel was brilliant. Right next to the beach, fresh pizza & gyros by the pool and What made our holiday so incredible was 10000% the animation events team. Especially Patryk, he made us feel so welcome and included in all the fun activity each day, they bring you on a bus club tour and it's very fun. Alex was also amazing, he gave us so many recommendations of places to go & things to see & made all the games and activity fun too! Evelina, Kamila & Veronica also very friendly and lovely. We will miss you and thanks for making us feel so welcome and have such a great time xxxx Nuala & Niall

Relaxing and funfilled week!

Location: This was the first trip abroad for my wife and I following the pandemic and we were super excited to come to Rhodes and it certainly didn't disappoint. It was about a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport at a fixed rate of 27 euros. (31 on the way back). The hotel is located 20 minutes to Rhodes town and 10 minutes to Faliraki. Lots of options for bars, restaurants and shopping. Check-in/room: Upon arrival, we were checked in quickly and went to our sea view room on the 5th floor, overlooking the pool/bar etc. We felt the hallway carpet was a bit of a dated green colour as were some parts of the room but given that we were barely spending much time in here we didn't really care! Our room had a balcony where you could sit and chill and all the other standard things you would expect. Activities: The days were filled with multiple visits to the pool, sun lounger and beach (which was a 1 minute walk away) in pulsating heat! On top of that there were multiple activities to choose from hosted by the incredible animation team which included boulle(?) darts, aqua gym, water polo, aqua zumba, volleyball and table tennis. There was also a pool table indoors, however you had to pay 6 euros to use this for an hour or so, which we felt should have been cheaper/free. We also had very nice massages from the in house spa which we were super happy with and the friendly staff even gave us an additional 15 minutes. I prefer massages to be quite deep and intense and Zafeiros certainly did that! One of the best massages I've had. My wife had a facial and literally fell asleep during it! Animation team: The animation team as I mentioned before were superb. Alex was the life of the party with constant energy and comedy and led the team very well. (I will shave my head next time Alex :) ) The other guys and girls who were Patryk, Kacper, Paulinha, Evelina, Camila, Viktoria and the others were full of life as well really making our holiday special. They honestly do a hell of a job. On the Saturday when they had their day off it was noticeably quieter than the other days. Entertainment: In the evenings there were a variety of entertainment options from Quiz nights to dance shows to name a few. On our first night on arrival they had a superb fire show that was really spectacular. The additional guy they hired to join the group was great as well and he did some incredible and dangerous moves! They also cater to the kids, so if you're coming with children there is entertainment for them to get involved in as well. Food: I've read in some other reviews that people did not like the food. I feel as though its a bit unfair as often is the case with all inclusive resorts, they have to cater to everyones needs which is obviously very tough so its going to be hard to please everyone. For sure there is room for improvement in this aspect. Personally, for me the food was more than adequate and they had multiple options every day. Breakfast was your standard eggs, bacon and beans along with the usual cereals, breads and fruits etc. A nice way to start the day. For lunch, you had the option to eat in the same area however we tended to have something from the food options around the pool. There was a pizza oven, Gyros, crepes, waffles, ice cream station and some asian style options including noodles/spring rolls etc. I tried them all and no complaints. V nice! Dinner again had the option of pizza so on the days you didn't fancy what the main dishes were, you always had that option however in general there was a decent amount of variety which was more than fine. Drinks: There was a pool bar where you could order drinks with the bar staff. What we found useful was the soft drinks, water and beer taps spread around the hotel where you could easily top up your re-usable cups and avoid waiting in long queues. I literally never write review these but felt compelled to do so for this trip. Thank you for the amazing stay! Hope this review helps someone out there!

Hotel in great location, with a great pool side area, however some staff members let the experience down for us

Jun 2022 | CallumJA10

We stayed in Pegasos hotel in June 2022 for a week. We were having a great stay, with friendly and helpful staff members, especially at the pool bar, and spa. However, on day 4 of our stay, my friend, who has a serious nut and sesame allergy ate a salad at the bar which he was misled to believe was nut free. After eating this salad, which was incorrectly labelled, he immediately had an allergic reaction. Luckily he only ate a mouthful so didn’t enter full anaphylactic shock, however he was struggling to breath and was unable to sleep that evening. When we went to discuss this issue with Management at the hotel, the chef immediately admitted to failing to label the salad. However, the reservation manager (Natalia) was rude and disregarded the situation as not serious at all, and even laughed in our faces. This overall failure to recognise the serious nature of the situation made the rest of my friends stay at the resort stressful because he was anxious about other meals not being labelled correctly. Natalia as well as the General Manager (Michalis) accused us of lying about the situation in order to get a refund. The overall level of service by the Management at the hotel was very poor and significantly affected the quality of our stay.
