Olia is an excellent choice for a comfortable stay, exceptional service and a laissez-faire ambience. The hotel built with great passion, in typical mykonian architecture and traditional colours.Breathtaking view of Aegean Sea at sunset time from the swimming pool.It is the right combination of quiet area, relaxing atmosphere and personal service.Olia hotel is located nearly 1200 meters from the attractive Mykonos town as well as 500 meters from the new Mykonos port at Tourlos area.Mykonos town can easily be reached in 5 minutes ride by either public bus (bus stop stands in front of Olia' s main entrance) or by the sea bus.Summer period bus and sea bus services operating frequently.Alternatively is only 20 minutes walk to sandy/shingle Agios Stefanos Beach and the centre of Agios Stefanos with mini-market, Greek taverns and low-key nightlife.

Good Value
Very easy to walk from New Harbor to hotel, unless you are adventurous the walk to Old Town is tough, but sea bus taxi is a nice ride. The Staff at hotel was very nice and helpful, the market next door has many things available. Good place if you want to be away from the crowds, good value.
Lovely hotel and comes with a free wake up call from the builders starting their cement mixer next door at 7.30am
Very disappointed that I can only give this place 2 stars as I’m sure had we visited any other time it would of been 4/5 stars but when we visited during the last week of October we were woken every morning from Monday -Saturday between 7.15 and 7.30 by builders working next door to our room constantly banging, drilling and using mixers which then went on all day until around 3.30 so this meant using the room throughout the day was unbearable and sitting on the balcony reading and trying to enjoy our amazing view was definitely out of the question!!! We would definitely not of booked this hotel had we been aware of this happening who wants to holiday on a building site!!! Also as they have a rule that you can only eat and drink food purchased from the hotel in any area other than your room unless we were willing to spend nearly €20 for a round of drinks each time we had to sit in our room listening to the builders if we fancied a lazy afternoon and not by the pool! This rule is strictly enforced to the point where we were sat waiting for the cleaner to finish our room one day when we returned with an unopened bottle of coke, some cakes still in the box and some packets of sweets and put them on a table whilst we sat chatting waiting the guy working on the bar came rushing over and told us to leave as we had our own things!!! We hadn’t even opened them and had no intention to we just had no where else to go so off we went rather embarrassed to sit on a wall by our room whilst we waited!!! £1100 this hotel had off us for a week breakfast was inedible so we didn’t partake and we couldn’t even drink a bottle of water by the pool without paying them even more money!!!! I will definitely return to Mykonos and I loved the Tourlos area but the hotel should definitely not of been charging what it was when so much building work was going on!!!
Very bad experience!
Considering that this was the fifth year in Mykonos and everytime I booked a different hotel rated 1 or 2 stars, Olia hotel rated 3 stars was the worst experience. We booked a room with sea view, but they gave us a room with partial sea view (actually kitchen view), for sure not the one showed in the pics. We asked for a change but they told us that everything was not available ( we booked the room 5months ago). The day before our departure we asked for a free trasfer from the hotel to the airport (as stated on their website) but they told us the flight was too early for them and we should have called a taxi. The breakfast was ok, but for sure not 3stars hotel breakfast in Mykonos (no variety and quality not excellent). Pool closed at 8pm and you cannot even stay on the sunbeds after the closing. I will not recommend this hotel and for sure next time in Mykonos I will not come back.
