The hotel is situated near the town of Lefkada, in the picturesque village of Lygia. The local pebble beach is 300 metres away and the tourist village centre is just 700 metres away. There are plenty of shops and points of interest in Lefkada, which is about 5 km away. The establishment is set in the beautiful surroundings of an 8000 sqm complex, where guests can sunbathe or enjoy the shade of the olive trees. There are a total of 50 furnished studios, all equipped with a kitchenette with a fridge, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, air conditioning (paid locally), TV, Internet access and private balcony. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool with children's swimming area, play a game of table tennis.

Having waited 2 years to get to here it was a good basic choice ! Pool lovely, snack bar food is good and tasty, reasonable prices are for food and drinks, bought here, but a few were bringing food & drinks in to the pool area, but naughty really! Kitchen is very basic, but a chopping board ( not wooden) would have been useful & colander… shower is great, plenty of hot water, just missing the hook for the shower head to stay up !!! Good night’s sleep very clean too! Great screening on the outside door. Local shops and restaurants are reasonable in prices. WiFi is very good! All in all not a bad holiday break ! Next stop another Greek island soon !

Lovely family run accommodation in a great location

We had a wonderful stay at Thalero. Having never travelled to the island we weren't too sure what to expect but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our room was big, clean and equipped with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Everyone is friendly, food and drinks delicious ad very reasonably priced. The pool is lovely and we were always able to get a sun lounger. There are plenty of lovely restaurants, and three supermarkets nearby. It's a very short walk to the sea and a little further to the beaches. The bus stops are just at the bottom of the drive. We loved it - Thank you everyone at Thalero!

My husband and I have been coming to Thalero for several years now, as have our extended family. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else. It is ideally situated in a quiet part of the Island, set back from the main road but close to a beach. It is easy to see the rest of the Island even by bus. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, the maids go above and beyond to make sure they do a good job. Sheets and towels are changed regularly and rooms cleaned more often than in other places ive visited. The staff are just amazing. It is a family run business and they also go above and beyond to make your stay as good as it could possibly be. Ask for any advice about where to go etc and they are there to help. The pool is clean and quite big. The Olive trees around the pool keep you shaded from the sun. Keep up the good work.
