Lovely Hotel in a Great Location

May 2022 | kimford1958

We loved this hotel, great location and the view from our room was fantastic overlooking the harbour. The staff were all very friendly and always happy to help. Breakfast was very good with a great choice and sitting outside looking out across the harbour was wonderful. There were lots of outside tables. Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and lots of lovely restaurants on your doorstep. This was our first time in Kos and we would definitely return.

Had a Lovely Time, Great Location, Clean Rooms and Fantastic Staff!

Apr 2022 | SoloLDY

I travelled solo to Kos, staying at Kosta Palace for a week. The staff greeting on arrival was warm and friendly. I arrived a bit too early for check in but there is a comfy lounge area indoors and terrace outdoors for the sunny days. On check in, I arrived in my room which was very clean, and I had a side harbour view from my balcony which was a bonus! The sun set on that side of the building, so several afternoons were spent relaxing in the sun on my balcony. There is road noise, so be warned of that. I had a problem with the water pressure in the shower being incredibly low and this was resolved same day. The breakfast was very good, a wide choice of hot and cold, and plenty of it. The pool was closed, as it was early in the season, however, staff made a big effort to get it ready to be open early and it was much appreciated. Overall, my time was very relaxing and the hotel could not have been in a better location for me. I do want to make special mention of the staff, every single member of staff I encountered was so helpful and lovely, and nothing ever appeared to be a bother, so I would like to express my gratitude to you all for making my stay at Kosta Palace!

Great location but poor sleep quality

Apr 2022 | xijiayu

We stayed 7 nights in the triple bedroom, with balcony facing internal garden/ courtyard. The room was large in size, comprises of a windowless double bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed for a single person and access to balcony. The breakfast was included in our stay and was the best part of the stay. We enjoyed the full breakfast (hot and cold food) every morning. The staff in the restaurant were excellent and friendly. Our room however, had no window and dark during the day and need to switch on light all the time. There were mosquitoes and bug issues that affected the sleeping at night. We tried to shut the door to balcony at night and switched on air conditioning, but the air conditioning system did not work. We were told that mosquitoes are a common problem in Kos, so cannot imagine how summer would look like without working air conditioning system. Our room also had a electric kettle and refrigerator, but the cleaners did not stock up tea and coffee most of the day. We asked for our bed sheets to be replaced on one particular day, but this did not happen. Obviously, either receptionists did not tell the cleaners or the cleaners did not do the job properly. This was our main complain here. Swimming pool was open during our stay, but the water temperature was still cold in April as it is unheated. Location wise, the hotel is strategically located in the Kos town, on waterfront, with easy access to all part of the town. There are plenty of eateries and restaurants, supermarkets and shops within walking distance. Lambi beach is also under 10 minutes walking away from the hotel. We love the location and breakfast, but room services and hotel facilities could be improved, as most furniture and fittings are quite out of date. Will we come back again? No, unless the price is right and the air conditioning system works properly.
