Lovely Hotel but took a star off ......

First time visit to Hanioti's Naias Hotel. We stayed in the apartment block opposite the main hotel and found our 'studio' to be extremely spacious, beds comfortable, decent little kitchenette with fridge and a nice, small balcony. We stayed bed and breakfast and wow what a choice ! Boiled, fried, scrambled eggs, omelettes, bacon, beans, sausages, crusty white and brown bread, continental choice of breakfast, fruit, filter coffee, three different choices of fruit juices, cake, donuts, waffles, pancakes, toast, cereals, jam, honey... I don't think I've even listed everything ! Everything that need to be kept hot was very hot. Great waiter service, great Covid measures - plastic gloves provided (not that a lot of people used them - tut tut), hand sanitiser on every table and tables cleared extremely quickly. The bar area is lovely. Bar staff friendly and there is a bar snacks/drinks waiter service on the beach. Naias has its own section of beach with sunbeds - 8 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella (2022 price). There are sellers on the beach who sell trainers, dresses, sunglasses etc who are all friendly and not pushy. Beware the two old women dressed in black - they sell religious icons and silver crosses and are SO aggressive. I saw one or two people getting quite riled up at their attitude. Not sure if it's possible but Naias staff should tell them they're not welcome. I took one star off the Naias Hotel for the following :- * In a room for two to three people there were four coathangers in the wardrobe. This needs to be addressed. * A bit of bleach in the wash basin, loo and bath/shower in the bathroom wouldn't have gone amiss. * Not enough plugs in the room. We found two behind the bedside tables that were impossible to use for mosquito plugs etc without moving furniture (incidentally you WILL need Mozzie protection, there are biting flies, midges and mozzies over there). * Naias need to check their sunbeds on the beach on a regular basis. Some are downright dangerous and broken. All in all a lovely hotel, in a great location that is just a five minute pleasant walk in the main Hanioti square which is a heaving, bustling, busy place with lots of tavernas (mostly rammed to the gunnels until 9pm).

Lovely Holiday

Just got back from a lovely family holiday. The rooms were spacious and cleaned every day apart from a Sunday. The maid was lovely and did a fab job. The hotel was lovely and relaxing the staff were very friendly especially the life guard Mario who made everyone feel very welcome as did the bar staff. The restaurant is small but food was always hot my only suggestion would be to put the puddings that were available in the morning on at night time as well. The pools were nice and the beach was lovely. I would definitely recommend snorkels as the fish are beautiful. If going out at night the bar Raphaelos is fab, Sotos is really welcoming and the atmosphere is great and the prices are fab too. Also the steak house and the stork restaurant are great value and lovely food. The big supermarket just up the hill is great for essentials but if you don't want to walk that far just 200m is a 24hr shop slightly more expensive but also good value. If you book here you won't be disappointed, after all what's not to love with the hotel right on the beach xx

Much more than you expect

Third time in this hotel with the family. Perfect location, it has its own beach with the sunbeds. The best thing about he beach is that ih has natural shade from the trees nearby. Tha bad thing is that you have to get up early to have them. Some guests leave towels on the sunbeds whole night as reservation which is owfull, mostly greeks. The hotel is renovated since last time we were staying, the appartments are significally larger than Greece standard. Very spacefull, superb teracce. The cleaning is daily and the sheets are changed daily too. More than enough towells and beach towrlls available for 4e per 7 days, and you can change them every 3 days. The breakfast is exelent, everything fresh. Swimming pool is small but enough and very clean. The lunch is available, very few ordears, but all tastefull and fresh. All in all exellent place for resonable price, you get even more than you paid for. Will deffinitly come again.
