This stylish boutique hotel provides tasteful modern accommodation in a peaceful location in a side street in Sissi village and is surrounded by a pretty garden. The beautiful beach and the local harbour are both about 300m away, while Heraklion International Airport (Nikos Kazantzakis) is a short 30-minutes drive away. Restaurants, shopping venues & also the small beautiful harbour can be found in the immediate vicinity (250 meters). Ideal mini break at Angela’s delight

The Hotel staff was welcoming and the layout modernist.The luxury room 316 had a distant sea view and was furnished well with jacuzzi bath and balcony. The. Harbour was a ten minute walk with numerous eateries and shops. The location was remote and transport limited.We took a taxi to malia 15 euros.Heraklion 60 euro,was worth a visit to the museum and surrounding fine shops. We took the safari trip which was illuminated by the quide. The trip to the Leper island was also worth while.I would say overall , The Hotel is suited to mature people and adventure is available to those who want it.

Beautiful stylish reception with relaxed seating. The pool area is a delight with plenty of loungers and shaded areas. Slightly disappointing that the hot tub was freezing cold. The pool bar serves delicious lunches and cocktails and the staff and service are certainly 5 star. A few tweaks we feel are needed before next season........The rooms are certainly not 5 star........very spacious but very sparce with chipped furniture. Comfy beds but with only one pillow (usually extra in wardrobes) quilt on the bed had seen better days. The bathroom was in serious need of an upgrade with shower curtain () and only a shower over the bath with grubby tile grout with cold water a couple of mornings. No usual 5 star extras like dressing gowns, water, tea, coffee cups, towels were thin worn and very small. Our room was on the first floor in main building and not much sound proofing- you could hear everything from the reception area. The breakfasts were ok but hot food generally only warm . Beware there's a charge of 3 euros extra for a tiny cappuchino if you don't drink tea or regular coffee !! Despite the little grumbles - the staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble and generally it is a lovely hotel but needs some refurbishment

Amazing Hotel

We had an amazing 10 day stay at the Angela, half board. Food was great and all the staff were so friendly I cannot recommend this hotel high enough. The room was serviced every day, so clean and comfortable. I would say that you might want to take your own hair dyers, the hotel one is on the wall in the bathroom and is not the best. But that is the only negative thing I have about this gorgeous hotel.
