Dissapointing

We have recently spent 11 nights at the Petradi Beach Hotel. We were looking forward to a beautiful beach hotel, but we were very dissapointed. The pictures on Tui and trip advisor sites are very misleading. The rooms we had were very small the bathrooms even smaller with a extractor fan that had no effect what so ever. If you sat on the loo you could lean on the shower screen and your knees where against the side of the sink when in the shower it was impossible to move without getting tangled up in the dated shower curtain. There were none of the big squishy cushions or double loungers on the beach also lack of umbrellas. We needed to turn a cushion over on one of the chairs because some inconsiderate person had sat on it with wet clothes and found food crumbs etc underneath. On a good note the staff were lovely friendly and helpful but they seemed to be short staffed.

Great hotel on the beach

This hotel is amazing. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the location on the beach is perfect. It's about a 20 minute walk to the town but there are buses regularly which is what we did if we wanted to go in. We will definitely try and visit again as for us everything was perfect.

Our third stay at Petradi Beach and one we will never forget for so many reasons. We stayed at Petradi in June 2022 for two weeks with a large group of our friends and family who were joining us to celebrate our wedding day. We had no hesitation suggesting Petradi to all of our guests- it is such a special hotel with the most incredible staff. Every single one of us were looked after so well throughout our stay- from the very hardworking room maids, to the excellent reception staff and to Nikos and his staff on the pool bar who make the best cocktails in the WORLD. Hospitality at Petradi Beach is second to none and you will never find a better hotel in Crete. Sea view, generous pool, high quality food and excellent staff. We honestly cannot wait to come back to Petradi Beach- it just gets better and better!
