These newly built apartment blocks are situated in front of the sea, on a small side road, away from traffic noise and facing a long sandy beach in the Missiria area of Rethymno. This is an ideal place for couples and small families looking for comfort and relaxation. These apartments have their own swimming pool as well as a children's pool, completed by a pool bar surrounded by well-kept gardens. Stayed in September for our 4th time.This time 16 nights. 1st floor studio immaculate as expected.Maria and the team met all our expectations.Great pool nice grassed areas and right on the beach.Local restaurants all good value and taxi to the old town now only 6Euros.Restaurants in old town offer wide choice of food.Its so good to stay here and to know all the family including the owner Demitri and many of the guests staying as so many are on return visits.Will we return of course we will as we enjoy it so much.

Myself and two friends stayed here a for a weeks holiday this September. We had a one bedroom apartment which was immaculate. Everything was spotless. Cleaning was on request, same with towels and sheet change. The pool and bar area was also very clean and plenty of sunbeds. The apartments are right on the beach, again with plenty of beds. It was rather rather windy during our stay so swimming was ab hard work, easier to fall into the pool. Maria and her family were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The town was about a brisk 20 minute walk or leisurely 40 minute. There were plenty of bars and restaurants on thew way in along with supermarkets and shops. I will definitely stay again in hopefully more normal times.

Hubby and I stayed here for the first 2 weeks of October, and as this was our first visit to this particular area of Crete we were a little apprehensive of what it was going to be like. We were certainly not disappointed at all with IIian Beach, upon arrival we were given a welcoming cold drink of fresh orange juice in the reception area, much needed after a very warm and tiring trip from Chania Airport, the journey was longer than we had anticipated. After we were told our studio apartment was not quite ready for us, we were shown to a 4 bedroom apt, and told our room would be ready in the morning, not to unpack. This was not a problem for us, we were glad to be here. Unfortunately it was not until lunch time we were shown to our studio, so we made use of our time, having a good look and getting something cold to drink at the bar. Our studio was spotlessly clean and had everything in it for self catering and more,(many places we have stayed at in Greece have always lacked certain utensils, etc, but at the IIian they had thought of everything and more in the Kitchen). One could tell that they certainly made their customers feel very welcomed, with their attention to their guests IE, the small bottle of Ouzo and shot glasses on the dining table, free sample bottles and tablets of soap in the bathroom, fresh fluffy and whiter than white Bath towels that smelled lovely. There was plenty of places for clothing and hangers, washing liquid by the sink, with sponge, a ready made washing line with plenty of pegs,..the IIian had everything covered. Rooms are cleaned everyday apart from Sunday, and certainly cleaned to a very high standard! outside was taken care of everyday also, gardens kept clean and watered daily, the path areas, stairs, bar area, the swimming pool too, Our stay at the IIian was so relaxing and most enjoyable and the only disappointing thing for us was our holiday coming to an end, the staff were so friendly and made us feel more than welcome, and I certainly miss swimming in the pool......waking to the sound of the Sea every morning, having my morning coffee on the balcony and just simply soaking up the peace and quite. Come visit, we will be returning.
