An amazing holiday

Villa Diasselo is such a stunning place for a fabulous holiday. It is set between Stalis and Malia just off the beach road. Brilliant location, 2 mins from the beach, shops, fabulous restaurants etc. Rooms are excellent, cleaned daily (except Sundays). Panos, the owner, is super helpful, plus he has an excellent sense of humour so you’re in for a week of laughter :) . I cannot recommend enough. Definitely my home from home and wouldn’t go anywhere else. There are ground floor rooms (3 or 4 steps) so ideal for those with mobility issues. Also the pool is fabulous!

Perfect family experience

We have stayed in Villa Diasselo for one week at the end of August and beginning of September. It was a lovely experience as offered conditions were very good: large apartment, perfectly clean, an useful kitchenette and an outdoor small terrace to quietly spend evenings enjoying the atmosphere of Cretan nights. The pool was perfect to recover after the busy travelling around days and our host was very helpful and agreeable partner of discussions. Closest beach at little walking distance, quiet zone but still feeling the active life around Malia. Glad that we have chosen this location for our stay and we definitely recommend it.

A family holiday in the family run Villa Diasselo

Such a lovely family run, welcoming villa for a family holiday, young and old. A huge thank you to Panos, his mother Maria, Manos and Anna (our rooms were immaculate at all times) as well as the discreet overnight security guard. Each morning there was a warm welcome from Panos for breakfast and always a friendly chat at any time. The pool and the bar area, were also immaculate, which was great for either spending time during the day or to return to after a day out and Panos always kept a discreet, watchful eye around the pool to ensure all children were safe and was meticulous that they were always accompanied by a responsible adult especially if from a neighbouring accommodation. The villa is well situated for the beach, local shops and walking distance to the beautiful old town of Malia as well as being within a comfortable transfer distance from Heraklion airport. I most certainly recommend Villa Diasselo and hope that Panos and his family have a lovely season too - thank you.
