Kernos Beach is on the north-east coast of the Greek island of Crete, east of the island's capital city, Heraklion. The hotel is in the small village of Stalis and is steps from the long and sandy Malia beach. It's also close to the centre of Malia, meaning you can easily walk to the shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has its own mini market where you can pick up any daily essentials you might need. Outside, there's a garden with lots of greenery where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine and a mini golf course, too. There's a gym where you can work out, and a spa to relax in afterwards with a massage. There's also a tennis court for which you can hire equipment from the hotel. The outdoor pool area is surrounded by trees, and you can swim in one of the two heated outdoor pools. Children have their own separate swimming pool. At mealtimes, you can visit one of the hotel's two restaurants, sit in the outdoor seating area, and later unwind with a drink from one of the three hotel bars. The hotel also offers weekly family-friendly entertainment and activities including a barbecue and live music.
Malia beach is 200m away from the hotel. Malia itself is a popular spot for nightlife, with lots of bars and clubs for you to visit. You can get enjoy different kinds of food from around the world at the various restaurants and cafÈs in and around the centre of the town. There's also a quieter side to Malia; for example, you can wander the narrow streets of the Old Town as well as visiting the historic ruins of the Palace of Malia, which is a 3km journey from the hotel.
Kernos Beach has a cafeteria, a traditional taverna serving snacks and coffee and a main bar serving drinks. There are also two restaurants; one international buffet restaurant and one serving fish and meat a la carte. There's also a kids' buffet and a separate kids' menu.
There's a golf course close to the hotel, as well as four water parks, a dinosaur theme park and a Greek mythology-themed park.

Rooms have tiled floors and individually controlled air conditioning to help you stay cool. Each also contains a mini fridge and a satellite TV.
