Iolida Beach

Iolida Beach is an apartment hotel on the Greek island of Crete, steps away from the beach and the many attractions of the popular tourist resort of Agia Marina. Iolida Beach is minimalist in design and decorated in neutral colours. Iolida Beach has a swimming pool and a kids' pool, which are in the centre of the complex. The hotel has a beach and pool bar which serves a range of drinks and snacks including pizza, pasta, and ice cream. You can also relax and have drinks on the sun terrace while taking in the views of the sea and the coastline. Massage treatments are available at the Iolida Beach Hotel, and for younger guests there's an outdoor playground where they can while the day away. The Iolida Star Hotel is the Iolida Beach's sister hotel, and is across the road and connected by a footbridge. The road between the two hotels is always busy with traffic. If you want to keep up your fitness regime while on holiday, you can use the small gym at the Iolida Star. It also has one swimming pool and a restaurant available for guests of Iolida Beach to use.

Iolida Beach is in the heart of Agia Marina where there are many bars, restaurants, nightclubs and cafes to choose from. Chania is 9km from the hotel. You can visit its 14th century Venetian harbour and narrow shopping streets, as well as the old port, churches and museums. If you feel like going further afield, you can travel 50km to Lake Kournas, which is often regarded as one of the most best natural areas in Crete. While there, you can have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the lake or go out on the water by hiring a boat or kayak.

Iolida Beach has a buffet restaurant where you can have lunch. The Iolida Star's buffet restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. Soft drinks and local beer and wine are included with lunch and dinner. The pool and beach bars serve drinks and snacks throughout the afternoon, including sandwiches, tea, coffee and cookies.

The playground has a lawn, swings and three small slides for younger guests, while a pool table is available for older children and teens.

All of Iolida Beach's rooms have Wi-Fi, air conditioning and satellite TV. Apartments have a kitchenette including hot plates, so you can prepare simple meals.
