Whilst the initial introduction was friendly we found the place to be very quiet and without service like bar and food for the rest of the week. The bar was unattended and closed at 10.30. The rooms were clean but dated and the shower kept overflowing. We felt as if we were just left to get on with it. Was a fair walk 20 mins into main strip.

Delightful stay at the Damia

We stayed for 7 nights at the Damia and enjoyed every moment. The hotel sits away from the Sidari strip, for us this was perfect as we enjoyed walking to and from the local towns. Time spent taking in the luscious green surroundings (turning orange in parts with the new season). Relaxing by the pool and bar area, we always felt at ease. A supermarket is a short walk away where you can pick up any extras, along this short walk we saw goats, chicken's, cats, lizards and more! Continue another 10 mins walk you will soon find well priced restaurants and shops approaching the Sidari strip. Passing masses of olive trees, pines trees, bamboo spanning across the hills beyond was beautiful. Thank you to Damia, Jack, Dimitris, George and Zhu Zhu for making us feel so welcome, the conversation and laughs, the recommendations and last but in no ways least, your hospitality. We've made great memories here and cant wait to return to make more. Until next time!

To my favourite family in corfu!!

We arrived late and followed easy to find instructions which gave us access to our room which i couldnt make a single complaint about and felt more then comfortable to call this place home for a week. The next morning we where welcomed by damia who with the greatest smile welcomed us with a coffee! I myself had many great chats with the family and I also know my girlfriend did too, from the hospitality to recommendations to which every single one we got given was absolutely spot on! The location for me was perfect, right next to a supermarket and about a ten minute walk to the beginning of the sidari strip. I highly recommend this hotel not just for us as a couple but also for the 2 family's enjoying there stay with us at the time. Thanks to all of you for helping make my week something I won't ever forget. and a special thank you to my brother dimitri thank your for spending time with us making us feel welcome and thanks for your hospitality I truly enjoyed our conversations and I can't wait to come back my friend! Ps I suggest to rent a pedalo dimitti knows a great place (I take off my metaphorical hat)
