Sunshine Corfu Hotel has over 300 rooms, with almost 200 located in the main eight storey building. A further 100 are located in bungalows, where they are surrounded by gardens. These are ideal for families and groups of friends, with two twin beds and two sofa beds. Over in the main building, Doubles have two twin beds and one sofa bed, while the family option has an additional two sofas that can convert into an additional place for someone to drift off. Whichever you choose, you’ll have WiFi, satellite TV, a mini fridge and air conditioning (from April to September).
The hotel is just 25km from Corfu Town. Here, the standout feature is the 16th century fortress, built by the Venetians on the site of a Byzantine castle. Climb to the top to get a panoramic photo for your Insta feed. If you’re lucky you might even be able to spot the mountainous coast of Albania. The Old Town has a maze of narrow streets, with an excellent selection of places to shop, eat and drink.
Those with a head for heights can visit the Monastery Of Pantokrator (22km away). This 14th century gem is 917m above sea level and is still in use today. If that’s not your cup of tea, you should head for the impressive Nymfes Waterfalls (20km away), located in a forest 1.5km outside the village of the same name.

ATROCIOUS, ABYSMAL INHUMANE PLACE. SHUT IT DOWN!
Firstly, I would like to point out I have never left a bad review for any place I've stayed in but I have lost my patience here. My partner and I stayed here last summer for what was supposed to be a week. We got some tragic news of a close family bereavement in the UK so had to leave after just half our holiday. We were assured and promised money back for the hotel room and spa treatments we had booked but we have received nothing six months later and been lied to repeatedly. The hotel behaved shockingly to us and were no help when we were in need of some humanity and support. The location.of the place is very poor and it is 2 STAR at best, nowhere near 4. It's a kip and should be closed down and management in the place should hang their heads in shame. AVOID AVOID AVOID !
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL I AM TRAUMATISED AND DO NOT USE VOYAGE PRIVE
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. It is dangerous. some girls and I went to this hotel on holiday and were harassed by two other people staying at the hotel. We had to leave the hotel early and stay at another hotel because of how awful the situation got, we started getting death threats from them and much more. We told reception about the situation many times and they did absolutely nothing about it. We asked to move rooms away from these two people and they would not allow it. I spoke to the manager who again couldn't of cared less about the situation. It was the worst experience of my life. The hotel has no security and do not care about their customers at all. The hotel was dirty and the food was AWFUL like genuinely disgusting. Overall, the whole experience was traumatising, nobody should spend any of their money on this monstrosity of a hotel. Also do not use voyage prive which is the travel company we went with and they did not help us with the whole awful experience we had and refuse to answer our emails about it. I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. It says this is a 4 star hotel I have no idea how it has that rating it should be a minus1000000000000 rating.
Terrible honeymoon
It would be difficult to list everything. Many things were not working, including the lift in the main building, the lift to the sea. You couldn't stay in the outside food bar because there were so many wasps. We booked a bungalow so we could spend our honeymoon in a quiet place. We had two faults on the first day, the shower rose was broken and the bedspread was bloody. This was quickly rectified. On two occasions during the week there was no water in the bungalow. The first was quickly fixed, the second incident was not. We then got a new room in the main building, it was very noisy, we could not sleep. We got a new one the next day, but they did not help us carry our luggage over or during this incident the staff was not very helpful. The food was ok, although we would have expected more Greek food.
