Olympion Village to the rescue!
Amazing experience here. Moved to this hotel on the first day of my holiday as the accommodation I was staying in down the road was dreadful. If I hadn’t of moved here I would have been on the next flight home! All staff are friendly and helpful here. I had a newly refurbished Deluxe Room which had lovely modern decor, a comfy bed, free WiFi, safety deposit box and mini fridge. The rooms are cleaned daily and to a good standard. The pool bar has a really nice menu if you decide to stay around the pool during the day and there’s a good range of drinks available. All areas are kept clean including the pool area and reception etc. There is also a small shop attached to the hotel where you can get water for the room and snacks. For what you get, I think the accommodation is very well priced (I presume this is due to the area). I wouldn’t return to Kavos, but if you are considering a trip here I would highly recommend this hotel so you have a nice clean base.
Fantastic Hotel
Stayed here for 2 weeks in September 2022. Wasn't sure what to expect of the hotel due to the low price but was pleasantly surprised. All areas kept very clean and tidy and the staff were always friendly. Rooms cleaned every day and usually towels and bedding changed every day too. You never had to fight for a sun lounger by the pool, there were always availability throughout the whole day. The only downside were the mosquitos!!!! Apparently as it is humid in September they are angry!!! Everyone was getting bitten to some degree so we had to buy a insect repellent plug in for our room and also anti-histamines to help with the itching from the bites. A friend of ours actually bought some citronella soap before she holidayed in Greece a few weeks previously so it is definitely something I would do in the future. The air conditioning was 10 euros a day which we were reluctant to pay as we were staying for 2 weeks, there were only a couple of nights that were hot and a bit uncomfortable so glad we didn't pay for it. You were just a short walk away from the Kavos strip but far away enough not to hear the loud music from the bars and clubs. I would highly recommend The Village Taverna, fantastic staff and brilliant atmosphere whenever you went there and Greek dancing and plate smashing every night, the food was delicious. As I'm a non-smoker the only downside of the open air restaurants and bars were people smoking by you which I didn't like. I would definitely recommend the trip to Corfu Town, absolutely beautiful and so much to see, we went on the bus which took approximately one and a half hours to get there but well worth it and only cost 4.60 euros each way. Plenty of variety of bars, restaurants and clubs on the Kavos strip to suit individual needs. Unfortunately it tended to be regularly untidy around the areas by the clubs with lots of rubbish, bottles etc. but all in all a very enjoyable holiday and would definitely recommend Olympian Village
