Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites is on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, within driving distance of Punta Cana which is to the south. The hotel is on the beach and is a short drive from a golf course. Outside, there's a garden and a sun terrace where you can relax in the sunshine, as well as a swimming pool and a separate children's pool. There's also a pirate ship with three small water slides. You can join aerobics, aqua aerobics and other fitness classes, play football, or have a few games of tennis on the hotel's court with equipment available. Down on the beach there's beach volleyball, as well as water-based activities and a diving centre. If you want to keep up with your workouts there's a gym, and afterwards you could relax in the spa with two Turkish baths and two saunas. There's also massage therapy and beauty and wellness treatments. You can get drinks delivered to your sunbathing spot with the beach waiter service. There are seven restaurants at Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites, plus three bars and a cafe. There's also a mini market for picking up snacks and other essentials. After dinner you can enjoy live family-friendly entertainment including shows and music, as well as a kids' entertainment programme and a nightclub.

The hotel is on the popular sandy Arena Gorda beach, one of the widest beaches in the region. The beach has Blue Flag status, with sand that slopes gently towards the sea, making it popular with families with small children. Downtown Punta Cana is 15km away from the hotel. Punta Cana is a favourite with visitors because of its beaches where you can sunbathe during the day, and its glamorous nightlife once the sun goes down. There's also lots of greenery and jungle to explore, as well as golf courses where you can enjoy the natural landscape while you play.

The hotel has three bars, including a beach bar and a pool bar. There are seven restaurants, with an international buffet restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Six a la carte restaurants serve Mediterranean, Japanese, Cajun, Italian and gourmet cuisine. Late breakfast and a kids' menu are available, and there's also a cafe.

The hotel has a kids' club for children aged 4-12, and a teen club for ages 13-17. There's also a playground and a games room.

All rooms at Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites are comfortable and modern, with individually controlled air conditioning and a private balcony, as well as a minibar.
