Pez Dama is an excellent place to have breakfast and lunch. The staff is very friendly and are very attentive. Everyday we came to Pez Dama, we were served by Miguel and he was always friendly and polite. He was also very attentive and really made our experiences in Pez Dama a highlight of our trip. Overall, this restaurant is a must for people who are staying at the El Beso side.

I just spent seven days on the El Beso side of this resort with a girlfriend and I would definitely return. We never left the resort because we did not feel that we had. This resort is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. There is a lot to see and explore - in addition to all of the pools, there's the Lazy River, bowling, theatre, activities in the plaza, and even a bird sanctuary. The housekeepers and groundskeepers are meticulous. The bar and restaurant staff and servers (like Luis at El Beso pool) were friendly and accommodated us. The food was excellent - the buffet did not disappoint. The Ocean Entertainment Team (Esteban, Franko, Luis, Erick, Wilkins, the ladies) made our vacation extra special with dance lessons and other games and activities to keep us entertained around the pool and in the evenings. They ensured that everyone was invited to dance or participate in games. There's no doubt that the staff at the resort enhanced our stay.

When we first arrived at the hotel we were put into a room with an adjoining door to the room next door. This meant we were able to hear our neighbours talking and children crying throughout the night. We went to reception the next morning and they had no problems agreeing to move us and we were told to be in the room at 1600 and someone will come move our stuff. We got to the room and rang to say we were ready and we were told someone was on their way. At 1845, after calling reception 3 times and even going to the desk someone turned up to finally move us. The new room was just as nice as the first room and it even had a bigger balcony so that was a positive. We were here for 2 weeks and for 7 days in a row I had to ring reception at 1800 as our minibar hadn’t been restocked and we needed the bottled water as it’s not recommended to drink the tap water. 7 days in a row is a joke if you ask me! Trying to get served at the pool bars can take quite a long time, maybe 15-20 mins per drink, even if you’re sat at the front of the bar. The breakfast food is okay, you can get omelettes/fried eggs freshly made in front of you which is good. There’s 1 toaster machine for the whole buffet which requires the bread going through twice to even look slightly toasted. The evening meals in the different restaurants are average at best. The steak house is the best food but waiting 50 minutes between each course tarnishes the experience. There’s not enough bar’s or staff for the evening times. We found the best place to get a drink was the bowling alley and we would sit in their and use that bar, even if we weren’t paying as it meant we weren’t waiting ages for drinks. All the outside seating is metal railed chairs. I don’t think they could be more uncomfortable so i would recommend taking a cushion with you if you plan to use them…! There was a good range of activities in the day which was fun, beach volley ball was our favourite and the entertainment staff were really lovely and remembered your name etc. Overall, it was a really average hotel that definitely should not be 5 stars. But the locations itself was lovely
