Whala Wish I went somewhere else

This place has potential and could be a great place to stay. There were good and bad things about this resort. The good: Ac works well, plenty of hot water for showers, big room that was clean and a comfortable bed. The pools were nice and the beach was interesting, it was a cliff rock meets the ocean kind of thing. The bad: Food was ok, I didn't starve but it wasn't what I call top notch cuisine. Mostly local dominicans and south americans with a smattering of europeans stay here. If you speak english and you are here on your own, get used to talking to yourself. Check in was completely disorganized with kind of a line that everyone kept cutting. Same thing with the buffet, people cutting in and out of line, stepping right in front of you etc. It's only 1/2 way through my vacation and I am contemplating paying extra money to go home early. Not having a good time here. I would not come back.

Staff was excellent; they were attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. The buffet, bar, wifi and snack shack are all inclusive. Additionally, they have a beautiful scenic nightly, made to order restaurant included but make sure you make a reservation when you check in, fills up fast. The braiding of hair, massages and excursions are not included. Pools are clean and beautiful; its the place to relax. Bar is open from 10am to 11pm. When the buffet is closed the snack shack is open. At night the snack shack is open until 1am. There are fun activities for kids and then adults starting at 9:30pm and at 11pm, you can take a free shuttle to the club/casino. There's access to a beach by bus provided by the hotel as well.
