Most of the two-storey villas have garden views, three bedrooms and space for 2 to 6 people. The ground floor’s home to the living and dining room, full kitchen and a downstairs toilet. Upstairs, you’ll find the master bedroom with en suite, two twin bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

There’s also the option to book one of four sea-view villas (sleeping 2 to 8 people). These have an en suite bedroom downstairs, plus a whirlpool in the main bathroom and two balconies for extra chill-out space.

With only 18 villas on the complex and no shared facilities, it’s pretty peaceful here. And when you do fancy turning the holiday atmosphere up a notch, stroll next door to the Louis Althea Beach - you’ll already know the way as this sister hotel is where you’ll have checked in when you arrived. You’re welcome to swim in the pools, order a cocktail or two at the bar and dine in the restaurant. There’s also a gym, spa, playground and a selection of sports and games there.

Plus, you’ll be right on top of sandy Kalamies Beach. It’s a pocket-sized but postcard-perfect curve of sand, with sheltered waters to paddle in and an Instagrammable chapel to gaze at over your paperback. Parasols and loungers are available to hire.

You won’t have far to go to find more sunbathing spots, or a great choice of places to eat, drink, dance and shop, as the centre of Pernera’s just 200m away. Alternatively, follow the prom all the way to Fig Tree Bay (4km), one of the best beaches in Cyprus.

Want to explore more of the area? You’ll have your own parking space right outside your front door for a hire car, or you could make use of the excellent bus network around Cyprus. The nearest stop is only 250m from the villas so grab your swimming gear and get ready for a day at WaterWorld in lively Ayia Napa (8km), go for a stroll around Paralimni’s old town area (5km), or pack a picnic for a day’s adventures in the natural surrounds of Cape Greco (11km). And, as for transfers, you’ll only be 45 minutes to an hour from Larnaca airport.
