The hotel is old and it shows everywhere. It is worth taking earplugs because you can hear the sounds of the street and what is happening with the neighbors. However, the hotel is clean, the service friendly and the food good. Close to the beach. about 30-60 minutes on foot to the main attractions.

Budget hotel 3star experience

Stayed here mid February 2023. Hotel review breakdown Room- twin room, average cleanliness, balcony with minimal view. The mattress was the WORST mattress we’ve ever stayed on, honestly it was very firm and the hotel could definitely do with upgrading the mattress. Overall aside from the Mattress the room for the price was okay. Wasn’t pleased with having to pay €2.50 a day to use the fridge, that was a first. I’d rate 2/5 stars. Food- very poor 1/5 stars for us. Breakfast was disappointing, limited variety both hot and cold. Lunch was the best out of all the meals and the evening meals was also not great with limited variety and meat was always very over cooked. There’s no all inclusive so had to pay €3 per soft drink. Food area clean though and nice outdoor space. I’d recommend the restaurant next door, decent food and well priced. Service- not a single complaint, wonderful service, especially a lady called Emma. All staff professional and helpful. 5/5 stars Facilities- pool was decent sized, lots of cats about but they stayed clear of you. Plenty of sun beds. No entertainment, there’s a run down pool table and small ish bar area, drinks are on the higher price about €6.50 for a cocktail and €3.50 for a pint. Not child friendly, ideal for for couples and relaxed vacation. I’d rate 2/5 stars. Location- bus stops into town right outside about €1.50 per adult per trip. A decent beach is about 20 minute walk. Nothing much near by so you’re better off going into the town. For location I’d rate 3/5 stars. Overall- this was a last minute cheap deal and I’d say it was decent for the price we paid. Would I stay again? Sadly not, purely for the mattress and food. I’d recommend spending a little more for a better nights sleep, food and location. Overall 3/5 stars which is exactly what the hotel is. Thanks to the staff for wonderful service, credit to the hotel.

Generally a good hotel and enjoyable stay

We found our room clean, air con works and heats. Big fridge for wine / insulin. The lunch food has good portions. Evening meal is a mixed bag - sometimes good , sometimes disappointing. Breakfast is fair but no proper fruit juice. We love the cats! It us rubbish to say restaurant smells of cat pee. The staff are pleasant but not overflowing. Generally we enjoyed our stay and the location, for 3 star, is good. Overall fairly good value for money
