Sleep Quality

Fantastic hotel

Jun 2022 | Darren T

Just got back. Great location for a short walk to the harbour with plenty of bars and restaurants. Some people say the hotel is slightly dated. Possibly, but is so clean. Everywhere from the pool to the lobby toilets. Sun bed allocation works so well. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you and it’s seems so genuine that they want you to have a great time. Thanks James in the Alexandra bar. The room was very big and again spotless clean. We faced the road and there is a slight traffic noise. Thanks again for a great holiday

Best stay

For me was the best stay in a hotel so far. From the moment we have arrived, the cool and beautiful atmosphere from reception made us feel relaxed. We were warm-welcomed by Iulia, the receptionist and other staff members. While you wait to get the keycard from your room, they serve you delicious drinks. The room, toilets, pool and spa,are super clean. All guis from pool bar, restaurant and housekeeper staff are the best. We already looked for our next stay with kids after schools are over. Big thank you for the effort you did to have a great stay!

Two glorious weeks

My wife and I stayed here with another couple . We originally booked a “Partial Sea View “ room which on arrival we decided was really not what we wanted as it overlooked the car park and very noisy main road. We raised with the allocations Manager and he did sort a new room out (after a few days) which resulted in us paying for a room upgrade to Side Sea View . This gave us a quiet view over the pool and sea and was wholly worth the few hundred extra we paid . This initial glitch has been the only criticism as the Hotel is a fabulous place to stay . Its a great location with a short walk to the harbour area which has a variety of restaurants and bars for you to choose from . I really would recommend visiting the harbour as some of the seafood mezzes are fabulous . One of the unique features of this hotel is that they provide allocated sun beds so you get to choose your sun bed for your duration . This saves you worrying about all those fools that put towels on beds at 5am . There’s several pools to choose from including a swim up bar. Cocktails , beers and soft drinks of course available throughout the day . Hotel also has three main restaurants to choose from but I’ll review separately . All the staff throughout the hotel are so friendly and helpful . We also tipped a few during our stay that made that extra bit of effort. “James “ for example always made a special effort to chat to us and always ensured we had drinks , offering suggestions on what to try etc. There’s a very friendly shop opposite the hotel (across the main road) where you can pick almost anything in terms of groceries, sun cream etc . There’s also a pharmacy next door . Things to do / see : Plenty of boat trips ( try the wave dancer fireworks cruise ) . Also get on a Troodos mountain safari / tour if you can . Getting up in the mountains is an enriching experience and the views are stunning . Plus it’s about 10 degrees cooler . You may need to cover up for the monastery though . Nearby beaches also offer , jet skis and para gliding .etc The hire place on the right of the hotel are apparently better organised I’m told !! You can also get a taxi (12 - 15 euros ) into Pafos old town . More restaurants, bars , shops and a market . We ate out at “Noir” , a Tapas styled restaurant and had one of the cheapest meals we’ve enjoyed here . In summary the Hotel is a great place to stay , but the room decor does feel a little dated and could do with some modernisation . Staff are friendly throughout and everywhere is spotlessly clean . Stay here and you’ll love it , providing you get the room you want .
