We stayed here September 2022 as a base for a golf trip, we've booked again for September 2023. Apartment was clean and spacious. WiFi worked perfectly. Staff were polite, helpful and efficient, (have to mention David who was exceptional). Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, well prepared and presented. Probably the best value for money accommodation I've experienced.
Family holiday
We went for a family holiday with our three children (21,16,7) and we had the most amazing week. It was our first time ever in pissouri and so our first time here at Hylatio. Apartments were clean, equipped and clean bedding and towels. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us for the whole week. Anything we asked was no trouble at all. Our 7 year old was so comfortable with everybody, all making an effort with him no matter how much he mithered. The food was lovely, wide variety at breakfast time, always a delicious and filling lunch. Maybe one small thing I’d say is maybe more of a children’s choice in the all inclusive for evening meals, but he didn’t struggle to find something he liked. The all inclusive drinks menu was excessive, plenty to choose from and plenty of delicious cocktails. Bar staff very friendly and had the football matches on for us too, always a bonus. The location is perfect, a ten minute walk to the bars and restaurants, and also the beach, which is stunning and has water sports and loungers. The pool area, bar area is again clean and peaceful, can certainly relax here. All in all our experience was perfect. A home from home. We will certainly be visiting again in the future
Lovely relaxing, good value holiday.
Having read a few of the negative reviews I was a tad concerned pre travel but have to say we were more than pleasantly surprised.... Booked an Easyjet holiday for my 18yr old and myself and booked the Superior Studio. Upstairs and all newly decorated. Shower/wet room, kitchenette, 2 large single beds, armchair, dressing table, table and 4 chairs and lovely furnishings... Extra pillows and duvets provided. Balcony table and chairs and clothes airer. Partial sea view. Started off on just a bed and breakfast basis (as we hired a car for the first few days which meant exploring and eating out) and loved the breakfast every day. Yes it's the same cooked hot full English but there's also breads, continental selection, normally 2 or 3 fruit selection, juice machine, porridge pot, coffee machine and cereals... One morning I had a bacon sandwich, another beans on toast, another continental... never bored me. We upgraded to All Inclusive for the second half of our holiday (minimum of 3 nights required for this) at E22 per person. This included lunch, dinner, naff selection of sandwiches, some cakes and cookies but best of all - all your drinks. Beers, local branded spirits, soft drinks and cocktails. And their cocktails were lush. At this point it's fair to say Barney and Angela behind the bar are the resorts biggest assets.... Amazing staff. I read the comment about the owner's son.... So he doesn't smile on arrival? Didn't stop him helping me hire a car and didn't stop him stocking my fridge with beers, juice and water pre arrival as I'd emailed him before. The grounds are beautiful. The location is great for a 5 minute walk into the Bay for the selection of restaurants and the supermarket. I'd read the comment too about the European Erasmus Project students and that filled me with dread! And lo and behold they arrived 3 days into our trip. Yes they were extremely loud and vulgar on their first day round the pool but enough of us went and spoke to the organisor - a local chap called Anthony - who spoke to them all and asked them to show more consideration to the guests and they did. Fair play. I do believe they only use this hotel out of season. In peak season there is no availability to house them. All in all I absolutely loved this place. Vlad and Maruda are the owners and were like a set of Grandparents by the end of the holiday! Maruda even gave me some homemade sweetfruits to bring home. We were lucky to meet some really lovely other guests and we're already talking about all meeting back there next June..... I never go back to places but there was something magical about Cyprus and this hotel as I've not switched off and relaxed so much so quickly before. I never lose track of days but did there! I found it extremely good value for money... It's not 5 star so don't expect it to be. Its a decent, fair priced 3 *. I only have 1 gripe and that is that I personally like my towel replaced every day if not every other day on holiday.... Here they change towels and bedding every 3 days. Believe its down to staff shortages. Thank you Hylatio for a truly lovely and very relaxing break. Vlad - if we do return - we are holding you to your promise to hire a mini bus and drive us all around. xx
