True hospitality has always distinguished the Mediterranean Beach Hotel as a resort in increased comfort, located on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Limassol.
The unique location provides all the advantages for a relaxing holiday, including the ability to enjoy the spectacular views of the southern coast of the island. The hotel's beach has been awarded the Blue Flag. The Mediterranean Beach Hotel invites guests to plunge into the warm and inspiring atmosphere of aesthetics, luxury and comfort.
Architecture and interior of the building, common areas and all rooms reflect the nature and spirit of the Mediterranean. The color palette is dominated by shades of blue and white, perfectly combined with natural wood and marble. The result is a modern resort that offers not only luxurious accommodation and personalized service, but also a comprehensive, truly Mediterranean holiday.
There are five restaurants in the hotel including three a la cartes:
* Celeste - main restaurant
* Aquaria - breakfast restaurant
* Nautical Bistro - a la carte
* Il Tinello - a la carte
* Schumi Sushi Bar - a la carte
About a kilometre away are the ruins of ancient Amathus, which is believed to have been the first settlement in the area of Limassol. A footpath runs along the beach, connects the hotel with this outstanding archaeological monument to the east and to the west of Limassol centre.
The health club of the hotel is the Aquum Health Club and Spa with products by Babor.
The Superior Double Pool & Sea View and Luxury Studio Pool/Sea View are for the use of Adults Only (16 years and over).
Half Board/Full Board supplement is only valid in the Aquaria/Nautica Restaurant or Celeste Restaurant for Lunch or Buffet Dinner (Theme night).

Glitzy Photos, lots of promises but fails to deliver
Firstly and most importantly avoid any room that over look the main road Amathountos the main BI Road on the front entrance , this road is used by locals car enthusiasts for various drag races, car meets and you will have to suffer load of cars backfiring, wheel spinning and other antisocial behaviours through to 3am most mornings . To upgrade to sea view expect to pay £30 per night assuming they have availability. We had to endure 3-4 nights before we could move rooms which was in itself inconvenient. Hotel is fully aware of the situation re antisocial behaviour but claims can’t do anything about it only report it . Spa is great, restaurants despite being varied have zero capacity to cater for anyone with allergens or allergies so save yourself the grief and don’t book. We discussed this at length with customer services , was assured the chefs and catering staff were all aware of gluten intolerance and several locations inside the hotel proved otherwise including a refusal to serve a Chicken Caesar salad with no croutons or dressing - because the Chef said there was Gluten inside a plain Chicken breast? Several others restaurants actually advised not to eat at their restaurant as it wasn’t safe. After several days we elected to bring snacks in from the small shops across the road or eat out on the recommendation of staff which has better choices and nicer food. Facilities are ok, surprised to see the towels being draped on unused sun beds all day whilst someone sits on it for an hour - thought that practice had been stopped, but the hotel seems to encourage it as even at breakfast you can see a plethora of ‘saved’ or reserved sun beds. Invariably we ended up on the beach which was ok but the hotel doesn’t seem to think people on the lower lawns or beach needs drinks or snacks so you’ll have to trek up to the pool bar for refreshments. The adjacent hotel is being rebuilt/ refurbished so there is lots on ongoing work including machinery and normal worksite noise which can be intrusive early in the morning or when your trying to relax/chill. We arrived needing a well deserved relaxing holiday, expected some pampering and chill time, we left needing another holiday, having had to pay unnecessary premium room upgrades and three or more nights of disrupted sleep and a daily challenge with staff regarding Gluten intolerance which for example every single morning despite marking it known to staff we needed GF - they made us wait sometime 20-30 mins before they brought a selections of breads, cereals biscuits. Great that they had them available at all - not great the way they treat people who need them and making them wait is discriminatory . Equally the cocktail/cafe bar adjacent reception insisted on serving coffees with small biscuits with every drink regardless if you have allergies or not - oblivious to fact even crumbs on a spoon can trigger serious symptoms. Locals use these hotels for celebrations so don’t be surprised if 400/500 people turn up for a wedding or other celebration so all activity is switched to that regardless of existing residents It’s a stunning place, staffed with people who say the right words but really cannot deliver. We won’t return, neither do we recommend this hotel.
Poor customer focus and poor service.
I spent 3 days at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel in Limassol with 6 colleagues from work. With a change of plans we required a late check out. I agreed the terms the day before departure and was told absolutely no problem up to 1600 and I agreed to pay the extra charge. I offered to pay there and then but they said it would be no problem and to sort it all out in the morning. When I came to pay for the extended check out time I was informed that it was now not possible in case the rooms were needed as they were nice rooms. Had I been informed of that the day before we could have made alternate arrangements. The staff were extremely adamant that this was best for the hotel company and would not budge- so much for the paying customer being the focus of a service based company. After spending a considerable amount of money on rooms at the hotel over the 3 days I am very disappointed with standard of customer service. I will go back to my company and suggest we do not use the Mediterranean Beach Hotel in future. The booking was made via booking.com. Interestingly, after our stay, most of my 6 work colleagues also mentioned the lack of customer service during our time at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel.
Excellent Hotel
Just returned from a short stay at the Mediterranean Hotel. Last time I stayed was a few years back. The renovation they did is spot on, the rooms and amenities are top quality and the staff are professional, personable and experienced. It really is a 4 star hotel with 5 star services and facilities. Well done!
