GrandResort is a family-friendly hotel in the popular town of Limassol, on the southern coast of Cyprus. The hotel has a modern appearance and features whitewashed walls and brightly decorated interiors. A short stroll takes you to the hotel's beach, where you'll find long stretches of sand and surrounding greenery. You can take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea or head out to the reef to try some snorkelling. The nearest town is a short drive away and has a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to visit. There's an outdoor pool with an integrated kids' section at the resort, as well as three indoor pools to enjoy. The adults-only whirlpool is available to use if you fancy some downtime. If you like to stay active, you can play games of tennis, or try your hand at beach volleyball. You can hit the gym if you prefer a workout or two to keep fit. When you want to relax and recharge, there's a spa with a range of massages and beauty treatments to choose from. Here, you'll also find a Turkish bath and sauna. The resort has three bars and nine restaurants where you can grab food and drinks during your stay.

The beach is 20m from GrandResort. Public transport facilities are 50m from the resort, giving you easy access to the wider region. If you want to pick up snacks, drinks or travel essentials, you can head to the local supermarket which is 500m away. The nearest centre is 2km from the hotel. Here, you'll find a selection of shops selling holiday items, gifts and souvenirs. There are also a number of restaurants around the area if you want to try some Cypriot dishes. Limassol Mall is 10km away, with popular high street brands and designer outlet stores to visit.

You can pick up drinks from the hotel's three bars and enjoy sipping them on your sun lounger. Three buffet restaurants offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the main restaurant offering a late breakfast option. There are also six a la carte restaurants open for dinner.

The hotel runs a kids' club where children can take part in fun games and activities, including painting, discos and treasure hunts.

5* AMAZING HOTEL - LUXURIOUS WITH FRIENDLY STAFF - THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN LIMASSOL

For the past 5 years I have stayed at the GrandResort with my children every summer and have booked again for this year! There is no other hotel in Limassol I would stay at. It is a beautiful hotel with all the 5 star luxuries but at the same time the hotel has a warmth and welcoming feel which is largely down to the fantastic staff and the 5 star service they provide! Nothing is too much, they always want to help and always have a smile on their faces. As a returning customer I am made to feel special every year and am greeted with excellent service from the moment I arrive. The hotel is immaculate and very clean. The scenery is amazing with so many palm trees and the clear sea and sandy beach is a few steps away. The entertainment for both adults and children is second to none. During the day there is a kids club for the little ones and countless activities for teens and adults and the entertainment staff are always around with activities and pool games. The evening entertainment is amazing too! It’s so nice to find a hotel that feels like a home away from home and my whole family can’t wait to visit again this year. Disappointing

My husband and grown up daughter stayed 4-11 October in adjoining rooms. We were at the front of the hotel which had a lot of road noise. We had to move rooms because of the noise of screaming children throughout the morning & night. Our new rooms had very saggy beds, which we were given a topper for, I had to help the lady from housekeeping with the one for my daughter as maintenance just left her to it! The rooms were never cleaned adequately, ours had a toenail on the carpeted floor when we arrived and it was still there when we departed! Bins were not emptied, tissues/loo rolls not replaced. The rooms were very tired, really grubby furniture on balcony. Only two restaurants were open which served the same, uneventful food. There was a buffet which we didn’t try and a small Japanese restaurant - which never seemed to be used. We had to get a 40 minute cab journey for a good restaurant or walk for 30 minutes along the beach. We spoke to a few other guests during our stay who also said they were very unimpressed with the hotel food, and also wouldn’t eat there. Reception were not very helpful, we had to keep going back to them to get answers regarding moving rooms, which impacted on our time away. Really don’t see the resort as 5*.

Our 6th visit now and still doesn’t disappoint. Although over the years and the Covid times some staff have come and gone the replacements have been up to scratch and attentive and polite as always. With Rosanna and Rumen performing for us each night in the Tycoons Bar, Mike the bar “owner” and Achilleas, Michel and Hazel (private joke there for Achilleas). The breakfast and dining staff and Andreas in management. Not forgetting Harris (the owner) whom we chatted with. We love this place and will definitely return. If you want a home from home this is the place.
