Not a pleasant stay at all.
We were placed at this hotel in the early hours of the morning after our flight with Easyjet back to Gatwick was cancelled. The staff in the hotel were really helpful and were accommodating but the hotel was not good. We were put in a room which had rock solid single beds, the hotels in our opinion is a 1970's throwback and is in real need of modernisation. Our sliding doors were jammed open with no handles and to be honest we didn't feel safe. There was no water in the room and when getting there at 02:00 in the morning that's not ideal. We found a good Costa only a 3 min walk away in the morning which was great so made the most of that before our pick up back to the airport. The hotel is very central in Larnaca and I believe only a 5 min walk from the beach but we didn't have time to explore, so I would say the hotel location is good if you want to stay in the middle of a busy Town/City.
Shabby Old and very Dated
I was put into this apartment hotel after EasyJet cancelled my home bound flight and was to spend the night here. I was given a key to a room and in inspection was very shocked to see a very dull dimly lit apartment that was something out of the 1970’s - very grubby, shabby old and dated. In places within the room it was nothing short of dangerously unhygienic and dirty. I checked the beds for any signs of bedbug activity which thankfully there was none - however on taking the pillow covers off if the pillows I was horrified to see the yellow staining and blood staining on them all. The bed covers were also stained and very grubby. The bathroom had hair in the sink and was extremely grimy. I did not sleep in this room. I stayed up until dawn light then I left as fast as I could. There was a breakfast on offer but after witnessing such grimed dirty and unclean room I was not going to eat at this establishment. I would not pay to stay here ever!! The staff were very nice people but the hotel needs some serious updating fixing and a good clean!!
Stayed here in july 2022
If you are looking for a luxurious hotel this is not it, BUT the rooms are big, clean, the staff is friendly and the location is PERFECT! Finikoudes beach, all the restaurants, shops, bus stops are just across the street from the hotel, so you have everything you need nearby. The breakfast is okay. The pool area is not big but it’s clean with enough sunbeds, a great view from the rooftop and a bar that serves good food and drinks. The only thing I didn’t like were the rules att the pool area that said ”no loud noises, no jumping, no running” as a family travelling with four children this was almost impossible! Also that we had to pay 70 euros for air conditioning for one week, this should be included because it’s too hot without it. The wifi in the room is 17 euros for one week for each person staying in the room, so not for the whole company (something they didn’t tell us) and the connection was really bad! Wi-Fi at the pool area and the lobby is free and better, so save your money. Overall we had a great stay/vacation!
