Not only that, but it is literally surrounded by history, since it is built within the precinct of Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Yet the hotel forms a bridge between past and present, tradition and modernity, being a harmonious blend of 15th-century stone walls and clean, minimalist lines. The entrance and dining areas are particularly spectacular, with their rich wooden floors.
