Grand Beach Resort Amfora

Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort is on the shore of the Croatian island of Hvar, looking out towards the Adriatic Sea. It's surrounded by trees and gardens in a quiet tourist area that's a short walk from the main center of Hvar. Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort is built in a contemporary style with glass-fronted balconies. Its interior design is fresh and bright, while the grounds have a traditional Mediterranean feel. It has an outside pool area with a feature waterfall, main swimming pool and smaller kids' pool. Surrounding the pools are a sun terrace, gardens and several small patios offering shady spots where you can enjoy a drink from the hotel's pool bar. The resort has three restaurants providing options for both buffet and A la carte meals. You can take in a 360-degree view of the island and ocean from the main restaurant. Down on the shore, the hotel's beach bar gives you the opportunity to dine outside with a view of the ocean. As well as sunbathing, you can relax with a massage by the beach.

Hvar is a popular tourist location with plenty of places for eating, drinking and nights out. Hvar town center is 500m from the hotel. Here, the harbor area provides a place to sit and view the yachts at the many restaurants and bars lining the harbor walk. You can visit the exhibitions at the fortress and climb to the top to get views of the island. The Stari Grad Plain is within driving distance of Amfora Grand Beach Resort. This UNESCO site dates back to the 4th century BC and gives visitors the opportunity to explore the island's history.

Amfora Grand Beach Resort has three restaurants. The buffet restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner. One restaurant is open during the day for snacks and light lunches, and there's an A la carte restaurant too. There are two bars where you can get refreshments.

The hotel has a gym and you can play a game of volleyball or table tennis. A playroom provides all-day entertainment for kids.

The hotel has a large and luscious pool area, divided by a nice waterfall. Down by the sea there is also the hotel's Beach Club, where you can rent sun loungers, have a drink and get a massage, all for a fee.
