We visited Villa Samba in PLAT during the last week of September. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you need. Fantastic views over the coastline from the balcony. We were picked up at the airport by our host's son who showed us the local area and took us to the supermarket. On arrival Nikola greeted us with a glass of excellent wine, grown and produced by himself and explained all that could be enjoyed in the local area, all in all a great place to stay an we would recommend it 100%.

We stayed here as part of a jet2 package. The apartments are very well equipped and maintained, and kept very clean. The owners live on the ground floor and take great pride in their property. The rooms all have sea views with some amazing sunsets, and the property generally attracts guests who appreciate a quiet holiday. There isn't much going on at all in Plat, so be prepared to get a bus or uber if you want to do more than sit by the pool or sit on the balcony. Apart from a small couple of stony beaches and a couple of restaurants there is nothing within easy walking distance, not even a proper shop (although as others have said, the owner will take you to Lidl for a small fee if you wish - although we politely declined and brought shopping back daily on return from neighbouring towns) We knew this before we went and used it as a base to explore nearby Dubrovnic, Cavtat and Mlini, which can be accessed by water taxi if you fancied a change from the bus which runs half hourly from a stop at the rear of the property. We would completely recommend this property as long as you are aware of its location and lack of local facilities and either want a very quiet base or are using it to travel to nearby towns as we did

Had a great week spent at Villa Samba for our anniversary. We were welcomed by Nikola and a complimentary drink then seen to our apartment , a quick tour of the local area by car then taken to the supermarket to stock for the week ,there is a small fee but it’s worth it . The rooms are immaculate with everything needed to cook with if required, although there is no freezer compartment for ice. We loved the area it was quiet but with easy excess to Dubrovnik via water taxi, bus or what we found best Uber. Our only problem was the lack of bars and restaurants almost nonexistent, although the one on the doorstep King Konoba is probably one of the best fish/steak restaurants in the area which we visited a few times. Would highly recommend it here if visiting Dubrovnik. Throw the Golden Labrador a sausage if you go she’s well fed but just needs a bit of loving.
