A beautiful hotel set into the side of the cliff with its own (small and busy) beach. We stayed here twice in the same week, having taken three days away to visit Hvar, and our rooms were excellent both times. That said, I note that the more expensive room “ Superior Room, Balcony, Sea View” was worth — absolutely amazing. The location is such that you need to walk 20mins to reach old town, but we never regretted not booking a hotel in old town itself — the space, views and serenity of the hotel made it quite a feature of our trip in its own right.

Exceptional sea view rooms and fantastic location

Fantastic 4 night stay at this super hotel. Beautiful balcony rooms overlooking sea - amazing to wake up to this view each morning. Set in beautiful cove, with access to pebbly beach which is not private. Ideally located hotel, 15-20 mins scenic walk into the historic city. We choose this hotel for its 5* rating, close location to city, coved beach and views. The service was exceptional, very friendly staff. Very much enjoyed breakfast selection. I would recommend this hotel if you want 5* star quality and good location.

Beautiful Five Star Hotel in Wonderful Location

I can't rate this hotel highly enough - we had a wonderful sunny 4 days here in October. The downside first - the mini pastries for breakfast. I can't understand mini pastries, why ?? No muffins. Crispy, tiny croissants. No thanks. And that's it. The rest of the hotel is amazing. Our room was spacious, spotless, and with a breath-taking view out to sea. The balcony was lovely, watch all the bats flying around in the early evening ! The room was serviced twice a day, every day, and there were chocolates on the pillows when we returned of an evening. Breakfast and lunch were enjoyed in Vapor restaurant, in the sunshine. Staff are professional, attentive, and efficient, as well as friendly and kind. They cannot be faulted. The food is superb. The beach is doooowwwnnn the base of the hotel, through a weird cave and then out to a small terrace with sunbeds, and then the beach, which also has public access. The water is clear and turquoise, there's a cave you can swim in to, it's pebbly to get in and out, so little beach shoes are handy. The sun was disappearing from the beach at around 3pm each day, but this was late October. Location-wise, it's just a 15 min walk in to the old town, or the marina in the other direction. There are shops (including a supermarket across the road), restaurants, bars, ATMs and snackbars all within a few meters of the hotel, and we even found a massive sports arena for football and an outside gym just 5 mins away. I would love to go back to Bellevue one day......
