H10 Tenerife Playa is a hotel steps away from the beach and the salt water open-air swimming pools of Lago Martiánez in the north of Tenerife. The town of Puerto de la Cruz, one of the most popular destinations in the Canary Islands, is a short stroll from the hotel. H10 Tenerife Playa is built in a modern style with picture windows and whitewashed walls.
The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, as well as a kids' pool. There are two restaurants and an outside terrace where you can dine or relax with a drink. H10 Tenerife Playa also has a poolside bar that serves soft and alcoholic drinks. Wi-Fi is available in all the public parts of the hotel. You can relax in H10 Tenerife Playa's sauna and enjoy the entertainment that the hotel's staff organises. At Lago Martiánez lido you'll find a number of swimming pools, sculptures and sunbathing areas where you can chill out. There are also waterfalls, lakes and landscaped gardens to explore, while along the resort's promenades you'll find bars, shops and restaurants. At Lago Martiánez beach, volcanic sand runs down to typically warm Atlantic Ocean waters, making this a popular spot for swimming.
H10 Tenerife Playa is 50m from El Lago Martiánez lido. It's a 450m walk from the hotel to Plaza Martiánez. Here, you can explore the old quarter of the town and discover narrow, cobbled streets, which are lined with brightly coloured, colonial-style buildings. You can also stroll down to the harbour and dine at the waterside bars and restaurants. The resort of Playa JardÌn, with its popular beach, is 2.1km away from the hotel. You could also take a day trip to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island's capital city, on the south east coast.
The hotel has a buffet restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's also an a la carte restaurant where you can enjoy international, Canarian and Mexican cuisine. Snacks, hot drinks and cakes are available throughout the day.
At H10 Tenerife Playa you can play a game of table tennis, and children can have fun and make friends in the playground.
Rooms are bright and modern, with neutral décor that features artistic accents. They have air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and a safe.

Lovely hotel
We went as a party of 5 for a 50th birthday, we had a fab time, flew into Tenerife South so prob around 1 hour 20 to get to the hotel with drop offs, checking in was straight forward however if my in-laws had gone together they would have struggled with the app to check in for food every morning & evening lunchtime booking is not required, you can block book but if you want but if you vary the times then you have to prebook. The hotel has a huge restaurant & you definitely won't go hungry, the staff are lovely & very attentive to everyone especially those with difficulties, the view of the sea is amazing while you eat & split level as there is seating upstairs to. There is a roof top terrace on floor 10 a must to see the views especially the sunset is fab, the rooms are quite small but we managed fine our room overlooked the sea which was nice & the lagoon, beds are made everyday & towels changed to. There is a warmer pool & a cold one, both nice sizes, a smaller pool for children & a jacuzzi which was a lovely temperature, plenty of loungers to, but might struggle at the height of season as the hotel is quite big. The beach is only across the way from the hotel, black sand & not much of it, with lots of rocks & pebbles, the sea is quite rough great for sufers which there were a lot of, the promenade is full of shops & restaurants if you want to eat out, but nice to go for a walk, 2 members of our party did suffer with upset tummys which lasted 2 days & the hotel did get us to sign a disclaimer before leaving so unsure if there was an issue or if there with a bug but all in all we had a fab time, would recommend & return, winter sun is just lovely ❤️
Beautiful hotel but
The hotel is excellent with views over the ocean, Puerto de la Cruz is a sweet little town with lots of places to explore. BUT if you are vegan think twice about booking because although the hotel has a "green scheme" it does not yet cater for plant based diets. We are eating very basic salads and trying not to plump for fries! So, 4 stars not 5.
Superb Location - Ideal Base For Hiking Holiday
I stayed in a Junior Suite and chose the Privilege option. Chose Half Board. Did not have a car. I hiked everyday so did not use the pool, spa or solarium. The hotel is right on the promenade, a few feet from the sea. Multiple restaurants and shops nearby. The only noise in my sea view room was the crashing waves outside. Breakfast was very good, with fresh baked bread ready around 7 to 7:15 every day. Evening buffet OK, a-la-carte good but had a limited menu. Puerto de la Cruz is seafood heaven so I chose to eat out on several evenings. Positives: - Nespresso machine and kettle in my room as part of Privilege. - Small, very sociable Privilege Lounge with good choice of drinks. - Very clean, balcony cleaned every day. - Outstanding staff. All reception staff very helpful, as was Miranda, the Guest Services Director. - Services very close by, taxi rank, launderette, pharmacy, Mercadona and Hiperdino large supermarkets. - Outstanding location. Bus or short taxi rides to walks in the Oratava Valley. Tremendous views of Teide. Neaatives: - taxis/coaches cannot drive up to reception. 50m walk with luggage on arrival. On departure for booked taxis the driver will help with luggage. - No separate pool for Privilege, which means there are sunbed priority reservations for Privilege guests. - some junior suites are sea view, some are pool, street view, some have balconies but all are the same price. Which one you get is pot luck, leading to some very irate guests. Strongly recommend that these options be differentiated on price and guests allowed to book specific options. I will return again and again to this beautiful hotel.
