Right in the heart of Playa de las Américas in Tenerife, Las Piramides Resort is perfect for those seeking a party pad close to Veronicas Strip. And despite its lively location, the hotel’s daytime atmosphere is quite the opposite. You’ll be thankful for its chilled poolsides after a big night in town. Surrounded by a row of loungers, spend lazy days by its curvy number or hit its roomy rectangle option for a late-afternoon dip.
Those staying here on an all-inclusive basis, can enjoy three delicious meals a day at the onsite buffet spot. Early-risers can grab breakfast from 8am till 10am, and if you can’t drag yourself out of bed, lunch is served between 1pm and 3pm. On an evening, take your pick from a range of hot dishes including paella alongside pasta and succulent meats. Alternatively, you can curb your cravings at the pool bar. Pick up a selection of tasty snacks from sandwiches to pizzas and ice cream as well as alcoholic and soft drinks. There’s also a lobby and lounge bar whipping up cocktails and coffees.
In terms of facilities, little guests will love meeting fellow mini travellers at the outdoor play area, while teens will make a beeline for the pool table. You may be just steps away from the resort’s pumping nightlife, but if you choose to spend your evenings at the hotel, there’s bingo and karaoke sessions to keep you entertained.
You’ll have plenty of space to yourself too. From studios to apartments, all rooms come complete with a kitchenette, microwave and fridge, seating area with a flat screen TV, balcony and bath or shower. Plus with an onsite supermarket, self catering guests won’t have to wander far to pick up some groceries. Families looking for a little extra space may prefer to stay in one of the two bedroom apartments, which sleep a maximum of six guests. If you can’t live without your devices, Wi-Fi is also available but this will incur an extra cost and can be purchased at reception. Communal areas and some rooms are air conditioned. Fans are available to purchase at reception.
Need a change of scenery for your sunbathing stints? The sandy Playa de Troya Beach is just a five-minute stroll from the hotel. Home to a windsurfing school, there’s plenty of watersports to try out when you’re not laid horizontal. For even more island fun, you’re just a short drive from Siam Park’s famous wet rides, while Mount Teide’s high-altitude adventures can be reached in just 20 minutes by car.

More Hovel than Hotel
Arrived 15th January for 5 days all inclusive. Had a room on the roof that was damp and smelled awful. To be fair they changed us the day after however we had to check out at 11 and then check in again at 2;30. Next room slightly better but at least didn't smell. A very run down Hotel in desperate need of an upgrade, all the photos you see are years old, the place is a hovel. In the lift on arrival we met a couple who mentioned the food and said it's not bad, you will find something that's OK, well it was hard and had to eat out some days. The snack bar was disgusting, just look at my picture and this isn't a joke, wrapped in cling film, even the hotel cat wouldn't eat this meat. There were also biscuits, about 6 in mini bin liners with a knot in them. Wi Fi was 5 Euros a day that worked in reception, restaurant, and some areas around the pool if you were lucky, only in Cuba have I ever paid for Wi Fi. Our room was partially cleaned once, there was a large bird dropping on the Balcony that was partially removed, why move half? Towels were changed only on the day they cleaned, I had to ask the cleaner on the other days to swap. All inclusive but the room only had a Kettle and an empty fridge, no water, tea, coffee nothing, you had to buy water. That isn't All Inclusive. 1 Barman (miserable chap) to serve all of the Hotel, Beer in Paper Cups, Spirits are cheap flavoured alcohol, anything named is at a charge. Entertainment programme is a Tape of 90s music repeated and repeated. On a positive note it is in a good central position. Never again and certainly not a 3 Star, 1 at best.
You get what you pay for!
Myself and my partner stayed here for 1 week all inclusive and have no complaints! The studio apartment room was exactly as described. Reading the information given on arrival, pay for the safe, deposit for the remote, Which we never bothered with. Hot and well pressured shower, Fresh towels every other day and clean sheets mid week. Have no complaints about noise whatsoever. A fantastic variety at breakfast cooked or continental, selection of bread and fruit, pancakes and churros. Lunch and evening meals were varied everyday with fruit and salad bar as a constant, plenty to choose from and always chips, sausage, pizza etc for the picky eaters. My only complaint for the whole stay was the food could be a little warmer but there is a microwave available if necessary. Never have to worry about being hungry with snacks served between meals. Alway got a lounger in the morning. They have a no towel reservation policy, which wasn't adhered to, probably due to the time of year. Pool was clean, bar opened at 10 all inclusive finished at 2230. Staff were polite and engaging. A small supermarket within the hotel. Plenty to do within walking distance I would highly recommend this hotel and I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Just Got Worse And Worse
This is our 3rd time we have stopped at Piramidas Resort and each time we have stayed it has gotten worse and worse but this time it has been unbearable for a holiday. Room very basic which is understandable for the price but no tv remote? Which we have found out you have to rent the remote to watch tv after searching for it 10 minutes. Then I went and bought some shopping from the shop to find there was no toaster and you had to pay a charge to hire one. No chance of sleeping. The walls are paper thin. In the room we had a locked door which lead to next doors room and you could hear everything next door said or did and they wasn’t even being loud. It was like sharing a room with other people. In the bathroom it was bad. The toilet must be broken or something as the water is constantly running. Vent/Filter is broken so we can hear everyone in the corridor and they can hear us in our bathroom. As lovely as the cleaning staff are. It’s not very nice getting woken up so early when we are on holiday from them shouting down the corridor to each other. I have had to use earplugs all holiday and I could still hear them clear as day through them. If you want a relaxing holiday, peace and chill this place is really not the place but I’m sorry this will definitely be the last time we stay here. It has really gone downhill this time we have stayed.
