Coral Compostela Beach

Family Garden Compostela Beach Apartments is based between the popular tourist resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas on the south coast of Tenerife, both of which are within walking distance. Set on the beach boardwalk, the hotel's high vantage point offers views across the ocean. The hotel has a garden area with two swimming pools, one main pool and one for children, both of which are heated outside the summer months. There's also a sun terrace and a pool bar serving drinks, with another bar and a restaurant inside the main building. You can stock up on holiday essentials at the shop. Children and teenagers are catered for, with two clubs that organise daily activities. There's also an adventure playground and an indoor games room for younger guests to enjoy. The hotel has Wi-Fi throughout, so you won't have to wait to share your holiday snaps. From Family Garden Compostela Beach Apartments, you can explore the south coast of Tenerife, and the bus network can take you to all four corners of the island. The blue buses, which run both throughout the week and at weekends, offer many different routes and stops, while the yellow tourist buses offer sightseeing tours of the island's capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The hotel is 200m from Playa de Las Vistas beach, which has Blue Flag status for its cleanliness and safety. The Safari shopping centre, with its illuminated 'dancing' fountain and range of fashion, jewellery and electronics retailers, is 300m away. The bustling resorts of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos are within walking distance. Both of these have plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars, with many overlooking the sea. If you want to explore the island on a day trip, you could visit the Mount Teide volcano, which is Tenerife's high point, or the capital city of Santa Cruz.

The hotel has a buffet restaurant that's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks are served at the bar from morning until late, and snacks are available in the restaurant between meals. Coffee, tea and cakes are served daily, and ice cream is available throughout the day.

You can play pool and table tennis, and enjoy the entertainment put on in the restaurant a couple of nights a week.

Nice pool area with pool and children's pool. Close to the pool area there is a restaurant and bar. Stairs with ladder and ladder down the pool.

The rooms have Wi-Fi, satellite TV and kitchenettes, including a hob, a microwave, a fridge and cooking equipment. There's also an indoor dining area.

For some apartments you need to walk about 10 steps from the hallway. The elevator does not go down to the pool area where there is the restaurant, bar and pool bar, stairs and a steep ramp.

Pleasant stay

Jun 2022 | noraandfrank

Spent one week from 24th May to 31st of May in a basic but comfortable apt on the 2nd floor. A small terrace outside but ample for two people overlooking a part of the beach and sea. Apt was fairly well stocked with utensils etc. Cleaning, change of towelling and linen done on almost a daily basis. Good pool area with plenty of sunbeds and nice bar area. Check in was efficient by the excellent Juani who helped us with with a couple of small issues that needed sorting. Also a mention to Andrea also on reception who took time and patience to help us sort out a problem with boarding passes. All in all a very pleasant stay and the only negative I can give is the cost of 25 Euros for WiFi.

Ok, but not great

Jun 2022 | H5863UHjamesm

Having just returned from a week all inclusive I must admit it was mixed views, the room, the complex, pool, bar were great, location for beach and local amenities was excellent, however, the food was generally poor, have had far better elsewhere, and whilst the pool was clean and very refreshing during the heatwave I lost count how many people fell on the tiles, yes some children were running as they do by pools but many adults were simply walking and went flying, sadly I work in the tiling industry and I struggle to understand how the hotel get away with using these tiles, but I guess it will take a more serious incident to prompt change but I was worried for my grandkids whenever they were by the pool, all said we had a lovely week and we’re blessed with stunning weather.

Rude Staff

Where do I start . Staff in dinning area are so rude We paid for 3 days . We weee advised that it finished lunch time on Wednesday . This was not the case . Bar person refused us lunch and ran after us as we left with a knife to cut off our bands to which we were completely embarrassed . AI not worth the money food cold . Birds fly in and eat food and staff don’t remove food that’s been touched with them will not be recommending this to any family or friends please bare in mind we did not abuse this AI service as the didn’t provide the alcoholic drinks we drank . Ate out most days and nights only drank soft drinks if we where are pool area .
