Great hotel been here about 5 times and always made welcome. Keep coming back it’s so good. Staff all very nice and rooms all kept very clean. Would recommend this hotel. Breakfast lovely and lots to choose from. Can’t fault it. Lovely piano bar in the evening.

Top marks for the Palace.

Considering this trip was during Covid I have to say the break was fabulous, what little contact we had with staff was excellent, the sunbeds were cleaned early every morning and the mask wearing was well observed, food at breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Lots of hand gel available. We felt very safe. I think this hotel is one of the best located in the resort, straight out onto the flat promenade and the the beach, with the Golden Mile shops and bars just behind backing onto Hard Rock Cafe , not that we heard any noise from our room. We look forward to returning soon.

Some good points but hotel needs to up its game!

I stayed here with my family from 26 December to 2 January for our first holiday since the pandemic began. Positives Great staff - friendly, attentive and professional at all times. A real credit to the hotel. Elizabetta (sp?) went out of her way to do what she could to assist. Communal areas are clean and regularly sanitised. Location is great - close to bars, restaurants and beach. Largish rooms (there was 3 of us in a room). Iron, safe and kettle included free of charge which is good (although no tea cups provided in the rooms). The buffet had a good selection at breakfast and dinner and whilst mass produced as is usual at hotel buffets, we didn’t have any complaints. Cava at breakfast is a nice touch. Negatives Hotel is looking tired, the rooms could do with a refurb. Room furniture was dated and needed an additional mirror at the dressing table. Instead there was just a random decorative wall piece (which clearly hadn’t been measured with a spirit level as was unintentionally very wonky) positioned right next to the TV which only made the decor look worse!! Piano playing at breakfast - not necessary and whilst some people may appreciate it, by the 3rd morning it was getting on our nerves! Would be better utilised at dinner where there appears to be very little atmosphere / entertainment due to covid restrictions. NYE gala dinner - just awful!!! The food was a massive let down and the music was just terrible for a NYE “party” (music from swan lake / the nutcracker followed by a live band playing nothing but 60’s records). Did not cater the diverse audience staying at the hotel and again, lacked atmosphere. We left at 11.15pm to go and have a drink on our balcony and listen to the music playing from the nearby bar. All in all, we wouldn’t stay again. Much better hotels on the island (especially in Costa Adeje / Del Duque) and the Cleopatra needs to up its game in order to compete!
