Ficus Apartamentos

The apartment hotel smartline Ficus is in the south east of Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands. It's in Costa Teguise, a bustling holiday resort. Lanzarote is known for its dry climate, vibrant coastal towns and volcanic landscape. There's a sandy beach a short walk away from the hotel. The hotel is decorated in nature-inspired colours with colourful accents. During your stay, you can take a dip in the hotel pool, which is heated throughout the cooler months. It has an integrated section for children to play in. After your swim, you could get a refreshing drink from the pool bar. There's also a second bar which is open until late, as well as a nightclub if you fancy some dancing. Sporty types may like to attend an aerobics class, play boules, darts, mini-golf or table tennis. At mealtimes, you can either visit the hotel's buffet restaurant, which offers themed nights, or prepare food in your apartment. There are shops where you can pick up ingredients within walking distance. Alternatively, you could eat out in Costa Teguise. Arrecife, the island's capital, is a short drive away. Here, you'll find shops, castles and a busy marina. You could also seek out some of the black-sand beaches the Canaries are famous for, such as Playa Quemada. Thanks to the high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel it's easy to stay in touch with family and friends at home. If you are hungry during the day, snacks are offered almost throughout the whole day.

The hotel is in a popular spot, a short walk from the centre of town. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Las Cucharas Beach, a stretch of white sand in a small bay, is 700m away from the hotel. If you fancy a round of golf, you could head to the Costa Teguise Golf course, a short drive away. For a day trip, you might like to visit Timanfaya National Park, also known as the Fire Mountains, in the north of the island. Here you can explore a volcanic landscape which was formed around 300 years ago, when there were a number of eruptions.

You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner at smartline Ficus's buffet restaurant, which has themed evenings. There's also a kids' menu, with familiar food. Snacks are available in the restaurant between meals, and you can get an ice cream or fresh fruit in the afternoons. The two bars serve a range of drinks.

The hotel has a playground for children, and offers daytime activities for adults and children. There's also a water park 3km away.

All the apartments have a living room with eating corner and kitchenette where you can prepare meals, as well as dining areas. You'll also have a TV, a safe and air conditioning.
