Sleep Quality

Terrible, Rude to the core, not clean

Jun 2022 | Tbh1110

Never again! Although the location is beautiful and safe, the property has been let down by the rudeness of some team members, the receptionists are pretending to doing you a favour whilst they only do their job, the (bold older) guy at reception was the worst, they are too overwhelmed when dealing with complaints, they loose their professionalism and become defensive and most offensive to their guests, the housekeeping was bad, we had coffee stones on the sheets on the furniture. The floor was never mopped,we had to walk around with flip flops in the room, further more the food quality was not great, most of it tasted like canned food, the cheese was never melted in the omelette, they do NOT label the food items at the buffet, a complete disregard to customers with certain food restrictions ( like not eating pork or kosher), and they use the same utensils for meats and veggies, the cocktails were tastless, we were never greeted at the restaurant entrance or the reception, the sauna and jacuzzi were chargable, the safe was chargeable, the towels were chargeable, even the sun lounger in the top floor were chargeable, Seriously....I fully understand that resort which do offer All inclusive must watch the cost, however, I expected more freshness and flavour in the food. Will not recommend this place unless staff are better trained and chefs are being rebriefed of the basic food hygiene!

Watch your change at the bar!!!

We have just returned from a week with our two toddlers. The food is great, plenty of choice and differs each night with a few staples. The grounds and setting are clean and well maintained and its a must that you visit the rooftop terrace, like being in a spa itself! While the hotel is beautiful it is very sadly let down by staff. I encountered very rude staff on reception on the 3 occasions I had a query, the majority of staff in the restaurant were also very hostile with a few being friendly. ***On our last night I went to the bar and was short changed 15 euros and this didn't feel like a mistake, the staff were discussing it once I walked away (I can interpret a small amount of spanish). My husband then went up shortly after, again, short changed by around 30 euros. When he started questioning what was going on, I arrived beside him only for the staff to start hiding away realising that we were together. I went straight to ask for the manager and he said that it has been raised before, I was furious. While he spoke with bar staff yet another couple were questioning their bill, same issue. If you are paying for drinks at this hotel it seems the staff all work together in hoping you don't realise what's going on. Nothing is being done by management as they are already aware of this. Yes, we received a free late check out but this is not protecting other guests.*** The 'cleaning' of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired also, no change of bedding, no clean cups left. No shallow pool for the kids either. We travel a lot and have never had to write a bad review like this unfortunately.
